Try to look for other options

There must be another way! you think to yourself.

You decide to go back to the ship you came from. This time with the intent to look through every little part of it. But despite your efforts, there is nothing of value that you could find. No telers. No guns. No grenades. No nothing. Bastards took everything!

You also prowl around the town, looking for jobs, perhaps somewhere to stay. For the latter, you find a hotel, where you could rent a room for the night, albeit the price is rather hefty. As for the former: everyone says no, excluding a number of suspicious places, where you count yourself lucky to even get out of there.

Perhaps the only notable thing that you find is a gunshop at the edge of town. You cannot work there. True. But the owner is kind enough to offer you a starter package (one rusty regular gun, some clips, couple grenades, plus a body armor) for merely two hundred telers. Of course, you know precisely why he set this price. But what can you do about it?

You also take note of a syringe, offered at the general store, at the price of eight hundred. The store owner says he doesn't know what it does. He just found it in the forest one day, and he decided to put a price tag on it. But there can be a case made that it can turn you back into a man. It certainly has to do something!

Just one night. Just one shitty night... you keep repeating in your head. But there really isn't any other option, is there? Besides: once your night of shame is complete, with the weapons and the armor in hand, you can pretty much barge into that vessel and claim it as your own. If you look at it like that, you will be getting out of this mess relatively easily.

Or you could just risk buying the syringe. Whatever may be the consequence.
