"Ummm, sure," Candace wanted to just bolt and flee the party so she could put all this behind her.
So, she opened the bathroom door, brushed past the man whose jaw fell to the floor, and with nothing but her purse on her shoulder sprinted past the partygoers and rushed towards the front door of the house.
Just as she was almost out of the building, someone grabbed her shoulder and turned her around.
