Mortified, Yukari explained everything that had happened up until that point. Listening quietly, Junpei nodded his head until the very end, at which he burst out laughing.
"Idiot! Keep your voice down," Yukari scolded. "It isn't funny!"
"But you've gotta admit, though," Junpei said, still snickering, "there was no way that you could have predicted this. Tell me, though," he inquired, whispering conspiratorially. "Are you wearing any panties?" Yukari blushed furiously. "Bingo!" Junpei exclaimed, cheering.
She hit his shoulder. "Idiot, keep focused!" Yukari retorted, annoyed. "I need a way to get out of here. You promised,"
"Alright, alright," Junpei relented, still grinning broadly. "But first things first, we need to fix up your outfit. We can't have you going out there looking like that. Fortunately for you, however, I happen to have a sewing kit," he said, brandishing a needle with a flourish.
"Does it have to be this stupid outfit?" Yukari sighed, dismayed. "You just want to keep me in this stupid thing," she complained.
"Of course it does, for effect," Junpei stated confidently.
As he worked, Yukari couldn't help but notice his seriousness. 'How strange,' she thought. 'Perhaps even idiots like him have their good side,' she mused. Of course, she had to physically remind him to not to let his gaze or touch linger on his chest as he sewed her top back together. He was still Stupei, after all.
Finally, he finished. "Let's go," he exclaimed.
On the way out of the storage room, they were greeted by Mitsuru. "Ah, excellent, Yukari, just in time," the taller girl proclaimed. Table 3 is looking to make an order. You may start over there." She reached for Yukari's wrist and started to lead her off towards the table.
What should Yukari do? Should she look to Junpei for help, or should she try to get her way out of this herself?
