Travelers from the future

The morning couldn't have started more normal. Beast Boy and Cyborg sat on the couch in a head-to-head video game match. Raven read her book near the kitchen counter, where Starfire chugged mustard from the bottle. Robin took a break from push-ups and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. Jinx, Cyborg's new girlfriend, sat the table practicing her magic one random objects.

"Could you do that somewhere else?" Raven asked.

Jinx grew a smirk and flicked the air, sending Raven's book pages flipping to a random place. Raven rolled her eyes and flipped back to her spot as Starfire giggled. "As if Beast Boy isn't enough," Raven droned.

The TV signaled Beast Boy's fourth victory in a row. Usually, he would throw the controlled down and do a little dance, but this time he stared at Cyborg. "You okay, dude? You usually kick my butt at this game."

"Sorry, BB," Cyborg said. "I'm kinda distracted."

"By what?" Beast Boy asked. "Is something needing an upgrade?"

"Nope, I can tell you he does not," Jinx said playfully.

Letting out a sigh, Cyborg paused the game and sat the controller down. "Well, I've been looking at our scanners, and there's some kind of weird energy pulse around the Tower."

"What kind of weird?" Robin asked. "Alien, dimensional, magical?"

"Not really sure," Cyborg said. "I just keep wondering how long it's gonna be before we find out the hard way."

As if one cue, a giant blast of blue knocked the Titans backward. Cyborg and Beast Boy flew over the back of the couch while the others fell to the floor. As the effect wore off, they began to hear voices.

"Ouch! Last time I play with one of those!"

"You say that every Tuesday, man!"

Where'd we land? Why's it feel so cold in here?"

"Hey! Don't squeeze my boob like that!"

"Nope, that was me. Thought you were someone else."

SMACK!

"OW...worth it!"

The voices brought the six heroes back to their senses. Quickly, each of them jumped to their feet to investigate. Robin grabbed his bo staff, Starfire ignited her starbolts, Cyborg readied his arm cannon, Beast Boy turned into a tiger, and Raven and Jinx prepared their magic. Slowly, the figures stood up from the floor.
