Trap is sprung

“Control…I have a visual” Emma said as she felt like an idiot for stating it in that manner.

She saw Supervisor Walton move her way even as she sent her report to Ms. Parker who would share it with Controller McCormick.

Emma looked up and saw several screens now had her image of facial scans from the market that had ID their target.

“Are you positive?” Supervisor Walton said as he leaned down into her personal space

“Yes Sir… I ran my own upgrade program and complied it with all prior images of her Sir and I got a 100% match.” Emma replied in a professional tone.

“HIM! That piece of FILT is MALE…a pathetic and sick male..but male despite his sick choice of dressing!” Supervisor Walton snapped.

Emma felt her face flush with a mix of embarrassment at using the female term when she KNEW his and Controller McCormick’s views on things like that as well as RAGE at the man for raising his voice that way to her!

“Yes Sir,” She replied and then grabbed his arm when he went to stand away from her, drawing a hostile look from him

“Sir… there is more,” Emma added.

“What else?”

She swallowed and pulled up a facial scan of Pickpocket before his crime and then the one shown in the screen of what Pickpocket looked like after putting the Sim-Suit on. In between was the facial image she identified as Pickpocket.

“Sir….his facial scan shows the suit has dissolved and let behind genetic changes to his facial and I am betting his entire body!” She told him and didn’t like the smile that appeared in his face.

He stood up and turned to face Controller McCormick.

“Control..Sissy is Pealed. I repeat Sissy IS PEALED Control!” The man said in a gloating tone.

Before Emma could ask what that meant Ms. Parker stole all her data and soon after a manly chuckle echoed from the balcony that was as arrogant as Supervisor Walton’s own macho chuckle.

“Field Teams take this sick freak DOWN!” Control commanded.

Emma saw the screens all change to show the market, some showing poor innocents about to get caught up in things as well as their target notice he had walked into a trap!

Emma doubted that Pickpocket was going to go down quick and easy given how he reacted to prior traps.

Part of her regret this while another part was glad as it meant she would soon be reassigned by Controller McCormick even if it was a demotion

She would be FREE of his ways and could become her full self once more!
