Transformations Round 0!

“Welcome back to the stage!” Serena was back in show-persona, while the rest of the stage still bore a somber cast due to her final warnings. As the Host continued her spiel, Nate took a deep breath and took stock of the state of his family and friends. Most looked introspective, though he wasn’t surprised that Vivian’s focus was on Alex. She had asked the question that led to Serena’s warning but seemed the least shaken of them.

Alex was almost hunched over in his chair, and looked to be only a moment away from hyperventilating, if it weren’t for the comforting hands of his girlfriend and mother calming him down.

Maria was focused on Serena’s welcome-back speech, as were Nate’s mom and Sam, but Sarah was looking at him. She flinched when he made eye contact and turned away. He, honestly, didn’t know what to do there.

Finally, he turned back to Serena. Their Host was a weird one. Oddly, he couldn’t really make a conclusion about how he felt about her. She had shown him three different personalities since they’d met, and he had no idea which, if any, was the real her. She seemed to be excited for this show, but also seemed sympathetic to their responses. A real enigma.

“…let’s get down to the transformations!” Serena finished her monologue and turned to the stage, forcing Nate out of his ruminations and back to the present.

“We’ll go in the order the Contestants were introduced, starting with our lovely mother, Helena!”

With a wave, a screen appeared in midair, and Nate gulped as he read through his mother’s possible transformations.

HELENA

A: **** is Wincest – Helena loses all negative emotions towards ****, and is instilled with an unshakeable belief that it is the family’s duty to partake in **** to curb their lusts, especially Nate’s lust. [****] (C-Rank Fire Manipulation)

Helena paled as she read the transformations. Nate, too, felt a little sick to his stomach, especially about A. Honestly, B was the most mild option, but likely the least powerful superpower, which he had determined was his purpose in this game. Honestly, even though option C had only a D-rank power, Time Control was likely special enough to match up with Fire Manipulation.

“Choices, choices, eh, Helena? Why don’t we see what Nate’s recommendation is, before you give your own endorsement?”

Helena turned to Nate, emotions swirling in her eyes. Nate couldn’t make eye contact, struggling to figure out what his recommendation could be. As he struggled to decide, Serena butted in again, “Ah, but wait, we can’t have you giving any extra hints, so let’s do it like this!”

*SNAP*

It was very weird to suddenly know, beyond all reasonable doubt, that you couldn’t open your mouth. Still, Nate knew it, and similarly knew that any attempt to communicate other than pressing one of the three lettered buttons that now floated before him would be impossible.

Nate struggled with the question for almost a minute, before he finally pressed a button.

Option B lit up on the board in gold.

Nate’s reasons were two-fold. Firstly, he hadn’t asked for details about the powers – hell, this was the first time he was seeing anything about ranks! As such, he didn’t have any grasp on what the differences in ranks were between the powers – how much better was C-rank than D-rank? Was it enough to be worth taking a worse transformation? How powerful would they need to be to win the Challenges? He was realizing now he should have pushed for more information from Serena in the break about the powers and Challenges and was internally kicking himself.

His second reason was obvious. He loved his mom, and ideally wanted to change her as little as possible. Thus, B seemed ideal – it was a purely physical change.

Honestly, the idea that C could even be possible terrified him. Changing peoples’ perception about his and his mother’s relationship? So much that they ignored any contradictory evidence?

Nate was only now beginning to understand what they’d all gotten into

Helena let out a sigh of relief when she saw what Nate selected, and Serena booed, “C’mon Nate, picking the safe option on round 1? Lean into it, own your fetishes, man! Oh well, Ms. Hawkins, is there any of them you want to ask the voters to vote for? Or not vote for?”

Nate almost wondered if there was some sort of bias against his mother, seeing that even Maria’s possible transformation could implicate her.

“Oh, I like C!” Maria said immediately.

“Hmm. Yes, that could almost be considered a reward transformations, couldn’t it,” Serena commented. “But what does Nate think of your options? Nate?”

Nate considered it for a moment. Last time he hadn’t chosen the C-rank superpower option, but this time there were two C-rank options. Logic would dictate he recommend one of those, but the problem was all three superpowers were situational. Not knowing what mess the Contestants might be getting into during the Challenges, the only one that might have universal application would be…

Option A lit up on the board in gold.

“Well it seems Nate disagrees with you, Maria,” Serena said. “What do you think, want to change your recommendation? Do you have one you want to avoid?”

“Hmm… No, I think I’ll stick with C, that one’s too good to pass up regardless of the superpower, I think. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind any of these, though.”

“And we like compliant Contestants on this show, don’t we? Very good, let’s move off of the MILFs and over to the Siblings I’d Like to Fuck. Sarah, you’re up first.”

SARAH

“Contortionist,” Sarah said before Serena could even open her mouth. “Gimme Contortionist!”

Serena snorted, “Gee, what a surprise. The girl with the gymnastics scholarship wants to be even more flexible. What do you think Nate? Got a different opinion?”

Nate shook his head, immediately lighting the C option up in gold when his buttons lit up. Similar to the first round, with no context for scaling he didn’t have anything to overcome the downsides of transformations A and B.

“Ah. Unanimous once more. That’s alright, we have plenty of time to get contentious. Any hard passes, Sarah?”

“No A, please. I don’t want that mental anguish on top of dealing with this competition.”

“Fair point, fair point,” Serena allowed. “Though perhaps the audience wants to watch you squirm until you fold. We’ll have to wait and see.

“Next up is the first of our male contestants, Sam. Now, for both Sam and Alex, they have intentionally been given transformation options that include physical modifications because the Master, sadly, is just not that gay.”

“Hey!” Nate objected, and Serena only winked at him.

“We’ll see how much he objects after he sees your two’s transformations. Let’s see Sam’s!”

SAM

A: Twincest – Sam is transformed to be his sister’s twin. He does not gain any of the benefits of her healthy lifestyle, instead becoming as if he had been born her twin but still lived his life the same way. [****] (D-Rank Cloning)

Nate blushed, especially as everyone turned to look at him. He covered his eyes to avoid them and tried to think.

He tried to consider the options. Yeah, he had a fetish, okay, fine, but this was his brother they were talking about. Though it’s not like the alternative options were any better – they would see his brother converted fully to the fairer sex. Unfortunately, the superpowers weren’t helping him make any decisions.

Finally, he took a deep breath, looked straight at Serena, and shook his head, crossing his arms before him.

“What’s this? Does the Master not want to give his recommendation?”

Nate nodded.

Serena shrugged, “Well, I guess that’s also an option, though is it any less damning? What do you think, dear Sam?”

Sam raised a hand.

“This isn’t class, Sam,” Serena said, amused. “You can just ask your question.”

“What’s a femboy?” Sam asked.

Sarah snrked out a laugh, and Nate facepalmed. Helena and Maria, on the other hand, both looked confused as well. Serena, on the other hand, was all too ready to play teacher for such a naughty topic.

“A femboy is a term for a male who looks incredibly feminine, usually small of stature with an androgynous face. Often they highlight their femininity through feminine clothing and makeup and take a submissive or womanly role in sexual encounters.”

Nate just faced the sky and closed his eyes, not even wanting to see the looks the others were giving him.

Sam waffled a bit, then finally decided, “Option B, I would like option B, please.”

Serena arched a brow. “Oh? Hoping to keep some shred of your masculinity? Or just playing to big brother’s fetishes? Well, we’ll have to wait and see what the audience decides for you, just like the rest.

Seeing the first option, Nate immediately crossed his arms and looked skyward again. He was going to stay out of Sam and Alex’s choices. They had enough difficulty without him sending them confusing signals due to his lack of knowledge.

“Oh, you’ve got a real fetish here, Nate, my boy,” Serena tried to rile him. At his lack of a response, she turned to Alex, “Well, Alex, looks like Nate’s still exercising his right not to choose, so what do you think of your options.”

Alex reread them all over again, seemed to consider something, then said. “I doubt the audience is going to listen to me, but I’d prefer option C.”

“Oh? Any reason why?”

“I plead the fifth.”

“We’re not in America, boyo, but fair enough. Which leads us to our last contestant – my personal fave – Vivian!”

VIVIAN

Finally, for Vivian, Nate’s choice was obvious. Both the least intrusive transformation and the highest-ranked superpower were linked. It was almost enough to make him suspicious, but after a second reading of the transformation he decided not to be paranoid and selected option C when prompted.

“Boring again, aren’t we, Nate?” And the knowing smile Serena had only doubled the paranoia he was feeling about that option. “Well that’s fine. What do you think, Vivian, want to take option C?”

Vivian bit her lip, but nodded in agreement. “I think so. Option A is just horrible, I don’t want to hurt my boyfriend any more than this competition already is, and… let’s just say option B probably won’t turn out well for the rest of the Contestants, so Option C, please?” She looked in the general direction of the invisible camera Serena had been playing towards this whole time, putting on her best puppy dog eyes.

They were very good puppy dog eyes.

“Aww, she’s so cute, what do you say, audience? Will she get her wish?”
