Touring the building

To your surprise, once the president leaves, everyone pretty much leaves you and Commander Teller alone to do whatever you want. You're not sure what to do, but the president did say you're free to explore the White House and you've never been in the building before so you just start roaming the building aimlessly with Teller by your side. It turns out that she hasn't been here before either and she is just as wide-eyed and intrigued. It turns out to be quite interesting to see the inside of the famous building that you had only seen in pictures, although a lot of it are just offices and cubicles belonging to men and women in suits and ties.

When you and Teller have made an entire round and returned to the oval office, you start heading to a set of stairs that lead upstairs. Commander Teller pulls you back by your arm gently. "I think that's where the president lives," she says in a hushed voice.

"Cool! Let's check it out," you say excitedly but Teller keeps holding you back.

"I don't think we're supposed to go up there," she says, looking around cautiously but nobody seems to care. Even a secret service agent standing guard nearby is just remaining still and acting like you 2 don't exist.

"The president said we could tour the building. He didn't say any part of it was off limits. Plus, he's not even here. Aren't you curious?" you say. Teller seems hesitant although she keeps looking up the stairs and you can tell that she does want to check out whatever is upstairs. You see a mirror nearby and you have an idea. "Okay, how about if we just sneak a peak without anybody knowing?" you say, then, you grab her hand and activate your invisibility ring.

"And how would we do that?" Teller asks, not realizing what you had done or feeling anything. You direct her attention to the mirror and it takes her a few seconds to realize that she can't see her own reflection and she waves at it just to make sure. "You can make yourself invisible?!?" she says in a hushed voice and you grin and nod.

"So, shall we check it out?" you say, pointing at the stairs. This time, Teller agrees and follows you up the stairs while hanging onto your arm.

Indeed, upstairs turns out to be where the president lives and it's pretty much what anyone would expect. There's a lounge and several rooms, including a few guest bedrooms. You and Teller find your way to the master bedroom of the most powerful man on earth and the door is ajar. It's quiet inside and you don't think twice about going in.
