Meeting the president

You follow the general and commander as multiple armed men escort you all out of the underground bunker. When you exit the facility, it turns out to be in the middle of a forest and several black SUVs are waiting for take you all to the White House. From the looks of it, it's not far away since you can see prominent landmarks of the capitol in the distance.

It's a quiet ride until the cars pull into the back entrance of the White House and bodyguards come to walk you into the oval office where the president is lounging on one of the couches. He gets up as you walk in and General Talbot introduces you to him, and explains the situation. To your surprise, the president is quickly on board with the idea of you acting as an agent of the government and by the time Talbot is done, lawyers have already written up an ironclad agreement for the president to sign, granting you full immunity. You then get your picture taken with the president while shaking hands, and he departs, saying he has a trip planned to Russia, but invites you to take your time and tour the White House.

Talbot then excuses himself and tells you that you'll be hearing from him through Sidney, who has been ordered to stay by your side at all times from now on. And just like that, you and Sidney are the only people left standing in the most famous room in the world.
