Tough times for Lauren

Lauren found her downward spiral continuing. She was now a total laughingstock: a local celebrity not known for her pristine looks and popularity, but her humiliating exposures, weight gain and future reality television career. People openly pointed at her and laughed. She still wore her Spanx, though word of her thick body had spread far and wide. Her peers mocked her, her work openly disrespected her.

Lauren had worked for years to be taken seriously. This involved perfect regimented behavior, an aggressive and cold personality, and of course, a majestic appearance. And now she was a joke. Her over inflated pride sagged like a half deflated balloon. Still, she had anger defending the last shards of her ego. They'd all see! She'd win this stupid contest and be thinner and hotter then anyone! Then there'd be no denying how great she was!

Meanwhile, due to the huge amount Lauren had spent on her failed diet and the lawyer, she was in debt. So she was forced to give up her apartment and move back in with her mother. Another blow to her ego, she was living back in her childhood bedroom! Her mother instantly set up a routine of chores filing Lauren's freetime. She now also had to live under the same roof as her sister Vanessa.

And then, on top of all that, the show began...
