Top Models
"Hold it! Hold the pose!" Ben Anderson exclaimed, and Danielle Holland froze in place, as did Mera Grayson beside her. Danielle was standing with one heel off the ground, her left leg lifted up, placed in front of Mera's waist. Mera had one of her hips popped out to the side, her hand on that hip, and her other arm slid around Danielle's shoulder. Both women were giving the camera sultry, seductive looks, and one of the interns standing on the other side of the camera unmistakably adjusted his pants. His friend next to him elbowed him and snickered silently. Danielle tried to ignore that, as she knew it would make her laugh.
"Perfect! Got it." Ben clapped his hands together, and Danielle and Mera dropped their poses. Danielle looked at Mera, and smiled at her fellow model and close friend. Mera was unmistakably a supermodel. She had a height that Danielle did not possess, a firm shapely body that looked perfect and elegant. Her skin was a pale white color, smooth and flawless, and her blue eyes popped off it enticingly. Her brown hair was falling down in flawless, carefully styled waves, but that was thanks to the hair department. Danielle's own blonde tresses were perfect, too, looking flawless in the gentle wind that had been blowing at them. Ben Anderson, one of Grayson Global's best lingerie photographers, came up to the women.
"That was a perfect photo for the cover." Ben told them, holding up a screen with their photo on it, and both women looked down on it. Danielle looked first to Mera, as she was never a huge fan of looking at herself in photos. She had fun with the poses, but after a shot, she wasn't one of the women who ogled their own photos. Mera's pale medium sized breasts were covered by a maroon velvet bra that showed off plenty of tantalizing cleavage. Her flat, perfect stomach was on full display, and though Danielle's knee was kind of blocking it in the shot, she was in matching maroon velvet panties. Danielle herself was in a sky blue lacy bra that didn't do too much to cover her breasts. Ben had definitely opted for a very skimpy set today. The color looked great against her tanned skin and long blonde hair, though, Danielle had to admit. Her very large breasts were swelling up against the fabric, stretching it outwards. Danielle's lacy bra was showing off plentiful sideboob, too, something she didn't mind. Danielle Holland had never been one to shy away from the wilder photoshoots, and that was why she liked working with Ben so much, because he wasn't afraid to go all the way with his photos.
"I agree." Mera nodded, chewing her lip thoughtfully, then she nodded, patting Ben on the back. "I think these will be great on the September issue."
"No one's gonna raise a fuss about us being July and then September so soon after?" Danielle smirked.
Ben snorted. "You two are some of the most popular models Grayson Global has. It's a miracle you're not every cover."
"Oh, I don't know about that. Kelsey is gathering quite the following." Mera smiled. "Oh, and we can't discount Skye, either. They're both enormously popular."
"That's true, of course, but they're newcomers. You two ladies have aged like the finest of wines, and with age comes experience and beauty. Your photos just grip audiences so tightly." Ben said passionately.
"Not the only thing our audience is gripping tightly after seeing our photos." Danielle quipped, making Mera laugh. Ben chuckled, giving an allowing nod.
"I can't lie and say you're wrong." Ben admitted, then clapped his hands together. "Well, I'm afraid I can't stick around too long. I'm on dinner duty tonight, Faith's got a later shoot than usual."
"That's perfectly fine, Ben." Mera smiled warmly at her employee. "Family comes first. We'll see you... Wednesday?"
"Yes, ma'am. I'm doing the Athena Fairfax shoot. That one's not lingerie, though." Ben grumbled.
Mera laughed, nodding. "They can't all be. We're not a lingerie company, we're a modelling company."
"Some days I wish we were." Ben shrugged unabashedly. Danielle laughed and leaned in to peck Ben's dark cheek.
"Great work today, Ben. Can't wait for our next shoot together." Danielle teased.
"Me either. I've already got your outfit picked out." Ben grinned wickedly.
"Oh, come on. Give me a sneak peek? For me?" Danielle asked hopefully. Ben shook his head, miming locking his lips and tossing the key over his shoulder.
"I'll take it to the grave. Just know it's excellent." Ben said proudly.
"Of course it is if Ben Anderson picked it out." Mera smiled. Ben looked pleased at the recognition from his boss' wife, and he left the two women alone, as he really did need to get back for dinner.
Danielle looked at Mera, and her brown haired blue eyed friend smiled at her. "Everything OK?"
"Yeah, everything's fine." Danielle nodded. "You ever think about how funny it is, that we are such popular models."
"Our prime isn't behind us yet, Dani." Mera laughed. You're only 38, and I'm 34. Plenty of years left."
"Oh, I'm not talking about age." Danielle waved a hand. "I'm just talking about how surreal it is to have such devoted fans. You know I get stopped on the street? I was shopping for groceries this past weekend with Dana and some sweet boy about Jace's age came up to me, shy and asking for an autograph while his father undressed me with his eyes."
"Does that worry you?" Mera frowned.
"No, I- well, I don't mind the attention." Danielle admitted. "It's just so shocking to me that I get recognized. Prism Bay isn't a small city."
"True." Mera agreed. "I suppose to me, it's not that shocking anymore."
"I've been doing this a while, but it's really no less surprising. And I suppose you could say I'm really reaching my apex of popularity." Danielle shrugged. Mera gave her friend a playful smile.
"You never know, your popularity could grow more yet." Mera winked, making Danielle laugh.
"I don't know if my ego could handle that." Danielle joked.
"You'll make do." Mera said amusedly. Danielle collected her phone from the table she'd left her things at, because, well, this lingerie didn't exactly have pockets. Checking the time, she gasped.
"Oh, I need to be getting home, too. It's nearly dinner time." Danielle said.
"Jeremiah cooked?" Mera asked in surprise. Danielle scoffed.
"Nope. Tonight's pizza and a movie. Jace is having Amy and Chloe over, and I think Daisy invited Hannah." Danielle shrugged. "I don't know, they just invite whoever they want to 'family dinner.' Half their best friends I see often enough to claim as my children, too."
Mera laughed. "Oh, I know. Peter's the same way, always got Hollie, Gabrielle, or Skylar over."
"Well, my son's not fucking all of his friends." Danielle chuckled, then paused. "Well, I don't think he is. He seems very preoccupied with Heather these days."
"Is she settling down?" Mera laughed. "You know Monica would love that."
"Oh, I do." Danielle smirked. "She's already pushing Zack and Dana together at every opportunity, and Jace and Heather seem to be her next target."
Mera snorted. "Good luck getting Heather to settle down. That girl is as wild as her father and mother combined."
"She gets it honest." Danielle laughed. "Alright, Mera, I'll see you later. Have a good night!"
Danielle gathered up her items and headed towards the changing room to put on her more public-friendly clothes and leave the studio.
