Too Shy

You watched the shorter, curvy girl for a minute before closing the door to your compartment. You'd never spoken to a girl other than Andi before and there was no way a girl that cute would want to talk to you, or so you told yourself.

The train ride passed uneventfully. You watched the open spaces fly by out the window and looked over your class schedule. Eventually your mind drifted back to Andi and that kiss she'd left you with.

You took out a piece of paper and wrote to her, thanking her for driving you too the bus, telling her you would miss her and that you hoped to see her soon.

After two days of cabin fever you pulled into San Diego and found the shuttle to take you to campus.
