When Izuku realized who he had been paired up with, he blinked in surprise, looking at the heterochromatic haired guy who was clearly sizing him up a little. Izuku considered it for a moment. Was he actually attracted to guys? He thought back to a few moments in locker rooms where he had met his gaze wander over fit bodies, and on beaches. At the times in question, he had just chalked up his interest to simply admiring the other guy's fitness.

He took a brief moment to actually let his mind wander towards the thought of actually engaging in sexual activities with another man. As he imagined it, there was an undeniable thrill in the thought. Yep, he was definitely attracted to guys too, how hadn't he noticed? He must have just taken his attraction to girls for granted and assumed he was straight without ever really exploring his sexuality... Well, he was sure a little talk with Momo after this, and some time with his classmates of both genders would help him with such explorations. "So, you're Midoriya, correct?" his teammate asked, an intense, cool air around him.

"Yeah, that's right... And you're Todoroki, right?" Izuku asked, shivering slightly. Was this guy really the most likely to want to be a part of his group? He'd have to ask Momo about her criteria when granting the wish later. "I saw you using ice during the Quirk Assessment, that's quite the powerful and versatile ability you have."

Todoroki allowed the barest hint of a smile to cross his features. "And you have a physical boosting Quirk, correct?"

Izuku nodded in agreement to that. "Yeah, that's right. I think we'll have some time to discuss tactics before our match actually starts."

"That may not be necessary, depending on our opponents, as I already know how best to approach it if they have no counter for it, but if they do, we can discuss it. Otherwise, I'll take care of the whole match," Todoroki shrugged, waiting for everyone else to be paired up. Izuku blinked, a bit taken aback by Todoroki's intensity.

To her annoyance, Momo ended up partnered up with Mineta. The feeling clearly wasn't mutual. Mineta was leering at her with clear, impure thoughts on his mind. Izuku's eye twitched. "Excuse me a moment," he said to Todoroki, striding up to Mineta and grabbing the back part of his costume.

Mineta jumped a bit in surprise, and turned his head, craning his neck to look up at, from his perspective, an absolutely demonic aura. "Let's get something straight, shall we? I don't mind you appreciating my girlfriend's beauty. We all know she's hot. But if you go any further than that, and fail to at least show a modicum of respect about it, we're going to have some problems. Are we clear?" Izuku asked in an all too calm tone.

"Ye-yes sir!" Mineta stammered out, getting the sense that Izuku was NOT someone he wanted to mess with. Izuku released him and Mineta backed away.

"...too much?" Izuku asked Momo as he noticed Ochaco was paired up with that large guy with the face mask that seemed able to duplicate his body parts.

"Not at all, it's sweet of you to establish boundaries with that little creep," Momo smiled at him. "Even nice guys shouldn't be pushed, and it's clear Ochaco and I are the places one should push least with you."

All Might cleared his throat, and announced the first match after the second lottery was held. The first matchup was Bakugo and Iida as the Villains... vs. Izuku and Todoroki as the Heroes.

"...why am I not surprised?" Izuku sighed mentally. The universe had been good to him as of late, but still seemed to enjoy messing with him a little.
