To the tower

Your morning chores don't take long. Most of your farming is automized by enlisting the help of the Juniomo forest spirits. They act as labor on your farm, and they get a sizeable cut of the starfruit crop in the summertime. It was an arrangement greatly benefiting both parties.

After shipping off the last of the starfruit wine yield from this summer, you figured it was time to get going to the wizard's tower in the forest. As you walk through the woods, your mind is filled with thoughts of how successful your first year had been in Stardew Valley. Not only have you had significant financial success from working the fertile land, but your body and even your mind seem to be enhanced by the restorative effects of the valley. You truly feel better than ever.

You reach the large oaken door on the outside of Rasmodius the Wizard's tower. After knocking once, you hear a whoosh behind you and look behind your shoulder to see the purple-haired mage standing behind you.

"Greetings, farmer. I trust you've been well."

"Yeah, been pretty great. I honestly do have you to thank for helping me get in touch with the forest spirits when I first arrived here."

The wizard chuckled. "Of course of course, it's my pleasure indeed..." The wizard paused. "Actually, I'd like to help you a bit more my friend."

"Oh?" You look at the farmer quizically. As you do, he unlocks the door to the tower and lets you inside. Fumes from a cauldron fill the room, but it's not a bad smell. Smells more of crabs and pine trees mixed together with flowery hints?

"You see," begins the wizard, "how interested are you in matters of love, farmer?"

Your face reddened as the wizard brooches the topic, but you try not to show any emotion. "Love? Why do you ask?"

"Well, one can't help but notice the affection the townsfolk have shown you. Truly it has been unprecedented. Every single person in this town owes a degree of their current success to the prosperity of you and your farm. If you haven't noticed, you have half of the town drooling at your feet, though they'd be too afraid to approach you about it."

You can't believe the wizard is saying this right now. "Why does this matter to you?" You ask the wizard. "I'm debating a few of the townsfolk as dating options right now, but I don't see how that's any of your business."

"You're right, it's not, but as guardian of this land I can't help but be attuned to the people of this land and to what they want."

You can't help but wonder where the wizard is going with this.

"Which," begins the wizard, "is why I'd like to present you with a gift I think you deserve." As the wizard says this, he unfolds a dark golden and purple ring from his cloak. "This... will help you give the townsfolk what they already want. I have foreseen it."

You, bewildered, accept the ring, but ask, "What? What does this ring do? What should I be doing with it?"

"Well, it's simple," says the wizard, "that is a ring of star domination. It will remove the negative cultural effects of you beginning romantic relationships with multiple members of the village. Since many of them crave you first and foremost, it is in their best interest for you to be able to take many of them as sexual partners. The ring will also passively increase the submission of those around you."

You're stunned, but pause for a moment to think. You wonder if the ring does as the wizard actually says. "So you're saying, I can have multiple relationships with townsfolk and nobody will bat an eye here?"

"The ring is tied to the Stardew region. In fact, you'll find that townsfolk will actively encourage your sexual activity and advances while you wear the ring. I'd used the thing myself with one of the townsfolk long ago, but didn't feel right using it after that. I can see how much the townsfolk love you though. It's in the right hands with you."

After that the wizard swings his staff to the side and the door flings open. "Now! Off with you! I have void specimens to examine and I don't have time to spare. Enjoy your magical artifact... and have fun." You notice the wizard ever so slightly wink at you as you exit the tower.

As you put on the ring, you feel a strong sense of confidence as well as sexual arousal course through you. Damn, so this ring could make it so you could essentially fuck all the bachelors / bachelorettes in this town? No way to know for sure before trying though.
