Before they would go anywhere proper, the two stopped at a park to enjoy the silence of the area.
The two had brought their handhelds to play a game with each other. Naturally, Chiaki won the game and so Hajime had to buy her a drink from the vending machine.
When Hajime left, Chiaki felt a bit sleepy. Today she woke up earlier than she was used to so she could make sure everything was ready.
"I'm sure a quick nap won't hurt." Chiaki said as she put her backpack on her lap the Monokuma facing towards the path.
"You protect me okay." She said to the bear mascot as if it could talk to her. She fell asleep the second she tilted her head down.
Little did Chiaki know that the mascot would be her undoing.
