To the palace!

Ariel noticed that too and came out of hiding, saying “Those were the ones that attacked us too earlier on.” She swam straight towards a mark on the wall of a triple toothed harpoon and continued “If we follow these marks, we will be able to make our way to the palace of my father, the king. We will be safe there.” As you made your way, you had to fight through quite a lot more Heartless than you normally had to, but you made your way to the castle nonetheless.

As you swam into the main hall, pursuing Heartless were zapped by king Triton and he said “That was just too close! As long as I have my Trident, I will not allow those creatures inside my palace!” Ariel swam up to her father happily, but then the king turned his attention to her and Ariel cringed as her father said “Oh, Ariel! When are you going to listen!? It is dangerous out there. Strange creatures are swimming about.” Then Sebastian coughed to get your attention and said “You swim before the ruler of the seas: king Triton!” Triton then said “And who are these people? They don’t look familiar.” You replied “We are from an ocean far, far away and have not been here before.” and Goofy added “Yeah, we are here looking for a keyhole.” really getting the king’s attention. And Ariel’s curiosity as she asked Goofy “What is that?” The king though blasted “There is no such thing!! No, not a word, Ariel! And I forbid you leaving the palace!” Ariel wanted to go against her father, but then decided not to and swam away in anger. You decided to follow her.

She fled to her secret hideout and she invited you in. Inside her hideout, she had all kinds of items she picked up from the sea floor on display, everything was dropped in the ocean from the land above sea. There was even an item in the form of a trident’s head, which should have something embedded into it. As you were quite interested in these items, Ariel also wanted to show you the wreck of a ship where she got most of the items from.

Fighting your way through hordes of Heartless, you noticed Ariel loved the thrill of adventure and not too long after, you found your way to the wreck. Having sought through the wreckage, you couldn’t find anything special, but as you made your way out, you saw a reflection from the dim sunlight at a nearby stone. Swimming towards it, you noticed the iron bands of a small chest. The lock was broken and the lid was slowly waving in the streaming. Inside, you found a crystal trident head and Ariel would jump up and down from joy if she could underwater. She grabbed the item and rocketed through the water back to her hideout. You came in a little bit later and she already put the trident’s head in it’s form, almost radiating from happiness.
