Triton turned to you and said “You there. You are not from another ocean, you are from another world. Then you are the keybearer. Yes, you can fool Ariel, but you can’t fool me. You don’t know your suction cups from your tentacle tips.” He continued “As the keybearer, you should already know that you shouldn’t meddle in the affairs of other worlds. I thank you for saving my...daugh..ter…” At that moment he seemed to put two and two together on something as his eyes also grew big and then looked at you menacingly , yelling “There is no room for you in this ocean and STAY AWAY FROM MY ARIEL!” After this, he turned around and swam away. Flounder came out of hiding when it was over and said “I hope Ariel is ok. I would go look for her, but I’m too afraid.” You consoled the fish and told him you would go and look for her. Even if you wanted to obey his order, as the keybearer, you had to get alone with her anyways.

So after some searching, you saw her red hair and green fin making haste towards the castle together with a few black tentacles and you followed them as fast as you could. Just as you entered the palace main hall, you heard two eels repeat after each other “We can’t find the keyhole.” “The keyhole isn’t here.” Then you saw a big purple and black squid lady and as she noticed you, she said “Looks like we got company. You are a little too late, handsome.” and she disappeared in a dark ball of ink which then dissipated.

Triton said to Ariel, who was clinging to his arm “We need to get the trident back from her.” and you said to Donald and Goofy “Let’s go for it.” at which they both nodded. As you swam towards the exit, Ariel overtook you and said “I am coming with you.” Triton, weakened by a previous attack from the squid lady wielding the Trident, wanted to stop her, but could only call out to her “Ariel, don’t go with the keybearer!” Ariel yelled back “They fight for us, I need to help them!” While you made your way out of the throneroom, Triton, with all his power, yelled “But you don’t understand...You play right in his….tentacles…” but she couldn’t hear him anymore.

Finally reaching the squid lady's hideout (her name, you learned, was Ursula), you had to make your way through a tunnel filled with previous victims she drained from their energy and were reduced to mere worms sticking to the floor. When you met Ursula, you confronted her and battled her and her two pet eels, overloading her magic cauldron with your own magic, unbalancing her energy supply. After a while, she noticed she was on the losing side of things and made her escape.

“Quick, this way!” Ariel motioned and as she made her way back through the tunnel. In the middle of the tunnel with the worms, a dolphin was waiting. “I called her earlier, because I kind of predicted she would escape to a less confined playfield where she would have the upper edge. But to get there, you need to go through a strong current, which you can’t handle. Hang on to the dolphin as she can pull you through.” Ariel explained. Donald and Goofy grabbed on, but seeing this as the perfect opportunity to lock up Atlantica, you slapped the dolphin on her back with a tentacle and she shot away towards Ursula’s final engagement with Goofy and Donald holding on for dear life.

“Hey, what did you do that for?” Ariel said as she looked at the dolphin shooting out of sight. Then she turned around to you and started “Didn’t you also had to...hey, what are you doing?”
