Chapter 6 by TheFastAndTheCurious TheFastAndTheCurious

Where?

To the front desk

Karina speed-walked to the front desk, which was the closest from where she was. She walked with one hand over her crotch and another over her breasts. She hoped her nipples were covered but she knew that her ass was completely exposed. She passed a few people on the way, all of whom gave her funny looks.

When she got to the front desk there was a line of people. Not many, only five or so. But it was still a line. She tried walking to the front but was stopped by a man.

“Hey! No cutting in line,” he said.

“But I’m naked.”

“Not my problem.”

“Back of the line,” another said.

Resigned to her fate, she walked to the back of the line and waited for each person ahead of her to finish their business with the management. Each moment that went by she considered how much quicker it would be to just run back to her apartment, but after each person she realized that the wait would be shorter so she stuck around.

Finally, she made it to the front of the line, where the clerk looked her up and down.

“Excuse me M’am, you’re really not supposed to do be dressed like that.”

“I know. I, um, was down at the pool—in my bikini—which I lost at some point. I didn’t realize until I was in the cafe.”

“Why didn’t you just go directly to your room?”

“I don’t know. Listen, do you have any spare clothes? Like a lost and found or something.”

“Um, I don’t know, I’d have to check. Do you mind waiting?”

Karina looked behind her to find a few more people had arrived and were now waiting on her.

“Yes, but please hurry up,” she said.

“Alright,” the clerk said.

And then he walked away, leaving Karina standing there nervously. The people in line were waiting. One of them, a woman in her mid-thirties, spoke up and started asking Karina questions.

“Where did he go?”

Karina, who wanted to avoid confrontation, reluctantly answered: “To the lost and found.”

“Why?”

“To find some clothes.”

“Your clothes?”

“Yes,” she said. But then, against her best judgement continued: “Well, no.”

“Well which is it, is he getting your clothes or not?”

“They’re not my clothes exactly, they’re somebody else’s clothes so I can wear them.”

“Did you lose your clothes?”

“Yes.”

“How did you lose them?”

“I don’t know.”

“What were you wearing?”

“A bikini.”

“Did you say you lost a bikini?” asked another person waiting in line, a young man in his twenties.

“Yes,” Karina said. “Why, have you seen it?”

“That depends, what color was it?”

“Purple,” she replied.

“Yeah, I saw it,” he said (obviously he was lying, but she didn’t know that). “It was down by the arcade.”

“What?!” Karina said. “Why would it be there?”

“I dunno. I thought it was pretty weird. But if you wanna go get it you’d better hurry up before somebody takes it.”

Karina weighed the options in her head. He was right, if she wanted her bikini back, she better leave now. Or she could wait and see if the clerk came back with anything.

What does she do?”
