To the coffee shop

You decide the world seems decidedly weirder than before. Determined to make sense of it you head to the coffee shop. Most people are in classes so it's mostly clear when you walk through campus. Upon entering there's a small line and you see Lindsay from your class there. You expect that if it were on some docket today there would be huge protests leading up to and after the actual passing of such a law. It strikes you as odd not only because everyone seems to go along with it, but why are you the only one who seemingly didn't know about them? Why are these laws geared toward college campuses and not the whole country? You're stumped.

You switch gears thinking about Eve. She was never some super feminist but was all about gender equality and bodily autonomy. You remember a fight you had a couple months ago over text and go through your chat history. There - you make a funny joke about women serving men. At least, you thought it was funny. The following string of texts from her show you she thought the opposite. She goes on to say that she'll fight against every law they pass that affects women's bodies until they understand that it's not their right to do so.

What the hell happened in only a couple months time that she not only allows her professor to grope her, but actually says to your face that men have a right to grope women?
