“Then I’ll be going back to my place,” Ruth said. “Good luck trying to keep him satisfied, Reina.”

“I’ll take you to the bus stop.”

Reina stayed in Will’s apartment while he and Ruth went out. Will held Ruth’s hand in his all the way. He didn’t let go until she was finally on the bus, but not before they kissed goodbye.

He didn’t have plans to immediately go back to his place, though. He stopped by a convenience store close by and bought himself a coffee to go, then sat down at bench in a small park. There were a few children’s games but no one around. The park was completely empty and the sun was beginning to set.
