Time for some solo practice

"Mwhehe! Dog on duty!" Futaba called out.

Almost instantly there was a shift in Makoto's demeanor. Her eyes went blank and she dropped to her hands and knees.

"BORF! BORF!" she loudly barked, lowering her voice a few octaves to mimic the bark of a larger dog.

"Wha?! M-Makoto?! What are you doing?" Ann asked, clearly confused by Makoto's sudden outburst.

And no sooner had Ann questioned her, than Makoto leaped at her, tackling Ann to the ground.

"GRRRR! GRRRR! BORRUFF!"

"Woah! Heel girl!" Futaba snapped and, like a well trained dog, Makoto crawled back off of Ann and sat down, her legs spread wide, her knees up, and her hands between her legs.

"Futaba, what's going on?!" Ann demanded as she stood up.

"I dunno! Don't ask me!" Futaba snapped, feigning ignorance.
