Tim's first choice: Danielle Bowen, 41, Blonde
You found yourself fixated on a particular page, having marked it unconsciously with your finger, and as you skimmed through the rest of the pages, you couldn't help but keep that person's image in your mind. After finishing the rest of the pictures, you lifted the pages off your finger and looked at the profile again.

Danielle Bowen, you read silently, age 41 years old, born July 19 (making her 4 years younger than you were now), 5'4", 124 pounds, works as a dental hygienist downtown...
You looked at Marissa and pointed at her picture. "What else can you tell me about her?"
Marissa looked at the woman before she had a big smile on her face. "Only child, both parents passed away recently so she's living by herself downtown in an apartment. She's never married, has no kids but wants some. Super sweet girl, very helpful in the community, likes to go hiking and biking, does outdoor activities."
You looked back down at the picture and gave her a small smile. "Well, it can't hurt..." You looked at her again. "So what happens now?"
The woman slipped the page from the folder and tucked it into her purse. "Now, I finish this wine and go to tell your mom about this. You'll get instructions in a few days."

The Ultimate Transplant
Someone you know is given a new body & life
PLEASE ADD CHAPTERS! A close friend or family member is horribly injured in an accident. As they lay dying in the emergency room, another patient dies of a brain aneurysm. Both of them are organ donors, so a surgeon decides it's the perfect opportunity for him to try an experimental surgery. He transplants the victim's higher brain (the cerebellum) to the donor's body in an attempt to 'save' a life. Amazingly it works. But the surgery was not approved so the hospital convinces the families to keep quiet, arguing that revealing this operation to the public would bring never-ending media attention to all involved. That means that the patient will have to publicly assume the identity of the donor. What will this mean to your friends and family? Who else will you tell? Although you will spend a lot of time and effort giving support, how will all this alter your relationship to the patient? And how will he or she adapt to a complete change of body and identity? Many transformation stories focus on the change or victim, so I thought it would be interesting to instead have the POV be someone who sees the change from the outside. Writers feel free to explore a change in age, gender, class or ethnicity - and the repercussions that change would have on the main character (and others).
