Without hesitation, you turn right into the narrow path and run as fast as you can.

“That was stupid of you!” blurts out Riley, who immediately takes up the chase.

Unfortunately for you, the path is not quite as well-trodden as you had hoped. Again and again you have to sprint through bushes to maintain your small lead. Your legs are already pretty scratched up from all the undergrowth and branches.

You turn around briefly just so you can see that Riley is less than ten meters away from you. “I'll have you in a minute...” she calls to you menacingly.

Suddenly, a sharp pain makes you yelp. As you turn forwards again, your blurred vision reveals that a branch must have come loose at about waist height due to your meandering through the thicket and then whipped right between your legs. You stumble and fall to the ground.

Riley reaches you just a few seconds later, followed shortly behind by Jacky. Both of them can't stop laughing. “Hahaha, he was just beaten by a tree!”

“Almost a pity about him, but then again, such a wimp wouldn't have had any business in our camp anyway haha!”

Only now do you realize that your bracelet is glowing red.
