Things Are A Little Awkward

Chloe lifted her head and saw the others each staring at her in a mixture of shock and confusion; she knew that most of them were likely trying to put together why she yelled at Ashley, though she doubted that they'd ever figure it out. As she reached the beach, she peered back to Ashley who continued to glare at her, Chloe let out a little smirk and turned back now looking for Zack. She saw him at the dock, a look of concern prominent on his face.

She walked past the others on the beach, not meeting their eyes so they wouldn't ask her anything and reached Zack. "Shit Chloe, are you okay? What happened?" Zack asked in a hushed tone,

Chloe without a word grabbed Zack's face, roughly pushing her lips against his, giving everyone, especially Ashley, a short show. As she broke the kiss Zack looked over, blushing at the others who continued to stare at Chloe's strange actions, "I'm great, c'mon." Chloe said in a chipper tone while taking his hand and leading him towards the end of the dock where they sat down, letting their feet hang in the water.

Meanwhile, Ashley had made her way down towards the rest of the group who had gathered up, "Well...that was interesting." Heather said with raising her eyebrows for emphasis,

"Man, maybe I should warn Zack," Kurt said grinning, "You never stick your dick in crazy." Heather quickly smacked the back of her cousin's head, "What?" Kurt asked with a little laugh, "You saw what I did."

"Chloe's not crazy," Brandon said while Ashley moved to his side, "Though she must have been pretty pissed actually to act on her feelings, she's usually pretty quiet."

"Yeah," Heather agreed while peering at Ashley, "So, you want to tell us then?"

Ashley narrowed her eyes,"Tell you what?"

"What shampoo you use, what the fuck do you think?" Heather retorted, "What'd you do to piss Chloe off so much."

Ashley looked between the three of them, quickly sifting through her mind for a good idea. Suddenly she let out a little smile, and snickered softly, "It's kind of funny actually." She said looking around, pretending to care if Chloe heard, "Well, you guys know that Chloe's so sensitive about her body."

"Is she?" Kurt asked with a smirk,

"Yeah, she hates it when anyone points out her boobs are huge," Ashley explained, "Well, when she came out earlier, she was still nervous about wearing that bikini. After she and Zack snuck away, did what they did, she came out and asked me what I thought." Ashley smiled widely, "I teased her."

"Ashley..." Brandon said dismissively,

"Oh calm down Brandon, it wasn't mean I was just messing with her. She got really pissed, and when I told her to calm down and stop being such a baby, she shouted at me to fuck off, that's what you all heard." Ashley said before giving a small shrug and concluding her lie with, "Guess she was trying to prove something by kissing Zack in front of us."

Heather rolled her lips in before covering her mouth with her hands and letting out a laugh; this caused Kurt to follow suit, laughing loudly and even Brandon to snicker a little. Ashley let out a sly smile, feeling quite proud of herself, "That's fucking hysterical, I thought she was just a prude or something, but she's like a child." Kurt said through his laughs,

"Okay, okay, enough, it's not that funny," Heather said trying to get herself under control,

"No, it really is," Kurt replied laughing along with Brandon and Ashley now, "She threw a fucking tantrum because Ashley teased her, what is she five?!"

"Shut up!" Heather quickly said running over and covering her mouth, "She's right there, I don't want her to hear us laughing."

"Heather's right," Brandon agreed while wiping his eyes, before letting out a cough and settling himself, "We shouldn't be making fun of our friend."

"Fair enough," Ashley said with a shrug, "I just have no idea why she asked me and thought I wouldn't rib her a bit."

"Who knows." Heather said with a toss of her hand, "Alright, I'm done, I'm heading back to my towel and getting some more of this sun."

"Want to go swimming babe?" Brandon asked taking Ashley's hand,

"Alright, why not." Ashley nonchalantly agreed and followed both him and Kurt to the lake.
