They talk

Sarah laughs lightly, a sound as effortless and natural as her appearance. “Absolutely. You’ve been quite the topic of conversation.”

John feels a flush of warmth, partly from Sarah’s radiant beauty and partly from the attention. As they settle into conversation, the sounds of the party continue around them, but for now, John’s focus is entirely on Sarah.

“So, Mrs. Carter tells me you’ve been hitting the gym pretty hard,” Sarah says, her eyes trailing appreciatively over John’s toned arms and chest.

John shrugs modestly, a bit embarrassed by the attention. “Yeah, I’ve been trying to get in better shape. It’s been a good way to clear my head.”

“Well, it’s definitely paying off,” Sarah says, her gaze lingering on him. “You look amazing.”

John chuckles, scratching the back of his head. “Thanks, I appreciate that.”

Sarah leans in slightly, her smile turning a bit more playful. “You know, it’s rare to meet someone who’s not only hardworking but also so attractive.”

John smiles, a bit shy. “Thanks, Sarah. That means a lot.”

Mrs. Carter, standing nearby with a knowing smile, steps in. “John, Sarah’s a fitness enthusiast too. I thought you two might have a lot to talk about.”

“Really? That’s cool,” John says, perking up. “Maybe you can give me some tips.”

“I’d love to,” Sarahreplies, her tone flirtatious. “Maybe we can work out together sometime.”

John grins, still not quite picking up on her overt interest. “Yeah, that’d be great.”

Just then, Mrs. Carter taps John on the shoulder. “Hey, John, could you give me a hand with something?”

“Oh, sure,” John says, turning to Sarah. “It was nice talking to you, Sarah. We’ll catch up later?”

“Definitely,” Sarahsays, giving him a lingering look. “Don’t forget our workout date.”

John nods, oblivious to the flirtation. As he follows Mrs. Carter, she chuckles softly to herself, clearly amused by the situation.
