They obey

The first change Ren noticed came in their faces. Makoto's eyes very quickly became glassy, her experience going blank. It didn't look like she was in a trance, per se. It more looked like she was depressed in a way. Like any and all will do do anything was gone. She just sat there, staring forward, unmoving.

Sadayo, meanwhile, looked around in a confused panic, her eyes darting around the room, a bead of sweat rolling down the side of her head.

"Wh-where am I..?" She whimpered. "And... WHO am I? What's happening?!" She called out in a panic.

Finally, Sumire quite literally threw her clothes off, as she burst out into laughter. It was like watching someone be relentlessly tickled. She immediately fell to the floor, clutching her stomach and rolling around as she laughed hysterically.
