They go over ground rules

“If you have company over, give a heads up,” Alice said. “Always knock before entering the bathroom.”

Alice had listed off some of the usual rules and Chelsea nodded along. “I have one rule of my own,” Chelsea said. “The only rule that matters.”

“What is it?” Alice asked.

“Well,” Chelsea said. “We should be comfortable in front of each other. No hiding in the bathroom or refusing to hangout. I think we should both make an effort to be friendly. Don’t you agree?”

Alice was surprised Chelsea would say something like that but nodded. “Yeah. I agree,” Alice said.

“Awesome,” Chelsea said. “I look forward to being your roommate, Alice. We’re going to have so much fun…”
