They get their reward, and some payback

The sun begins to set as the market day ends. Petra's day as a signboard is over. “Hey girls, thanks! I got like, 20% more sales today! I left your payment in the chest over there.”

“Thank you very much... Anna...” Petra says as Anna goes inside the inn for a quick refreshment.

Shez opens the chest and... “Two hand towels? Anna, you cheap bastard! This isn't even enough to cover my face!”

“I am wanting clothes! I can not be going to the camp like this!”

“I'm going to go inside and give Anna a piece of my mind.”

Shez returns. She is holding what looks like Anna's former clothes. “So, funny story, Anna literally sold all of but the clothes on her back in the last town she visited. And, because it's already nightfall, all the stores are closed. So here, try this.”

Shez tosses the clothes to Petra. “Thank you, Shez.” Petra struggles a lot with putting on the outfit. It is not her size.

“I figure that you ought to wear that on the way back. As the Queen of Brigid and all, you should not be walking around naked. Especially now, there are many nobles at camp, I hear there is a peace conference going on?”

“You are having a lot of bravery, Shez, for walking around with only the towels.”

“Yeah, yeah. Now one last question before we go back to camp. What do you want to do with her?” Shez pulls a rope, dragging a naked and squirming Anna into the street. One of the towels is used to gag her mouth. “It's only fair we get some payback on her after she scammed us.”

“Oh, no, I am not having any intention of being pun... punishment... to Anna. I am preferring not to be doing this kind of thing.“

Shez shrugs. “Suit yourself. You might not want some payback, but I do. Go on ahead, I'll catch up soon enough.”

Petra is now dressed. Her outfit still fits a bit loosely, but it covers her. “I hope you are not doing anything too bad!”

Shez ties the blushing Anna under the sign, in plain view of the whole street. With a paintbrush, she writes above her modest chest. “One honk, one coin. Don't untie me, I'm in the middle of a sale!”.

Anna looks down, and her whole body gets as red as her hair. She struggles uselessly against the rope and curses Shez in mumbled words. The mercenary just smiles.

“Now we are even. Hope you have a lot of customers tomorrow!” Shez leaves Anna to her fate and goes to catch up to Petra.
