They don´t wait and try to flee

Knowing that brat he would just return inside and ignore their deal, they couldn’t go far. The only place left to hide was that apartment in front of them.

Laura ran into it and Ari followed her. It was a relatively big and well furnished apartment. Laura once again held her ear against the door, the noises were getting louder and louder until they stopped in front of her.

“They are coming in!” she told Ari alarmed “Behind the couch, hurry!” They ran and jumped at the back of the couch, crouching down behind it. The big white furniture would conceal them from anyone entering the apartment and going to the kitchen next to the entrance, but if they wanted to watch TV or go inside the bedrooms they would be in trouble.

The door opened and what sounded like a couple of guys and girls came in, “…I just wanted a snack, the ones they sell at work are horrible” said one of them and they all entered the kitchen. Laura exhaled a breath of relief, it looks like they weren’t going to come her way after all, but, as they were next to the exit they would have to sit this one out until they left.

As she waited she shuddered when she thought about them discovering her cuffed and hiding completely naked with Ari, it would be a completely silly sight to say the least. But wait, completely naked? She still had her mask, it would be way less embarrassing to be caught wearing it as no one would have any way of knowing who she is or what she really looks like.

Laura put on the mask, Ari looked at her realizing what she was doing and in one swift motion she used her handcuffed hand to snatch the mask away.

“This is a Heartcrushers mask, if anyone is going to wear it will be me” she murmured at Laura.

“We can’t have the gang leader not show her face, it would make the whole gang look like cowards” Now Laura grabbed the piece of cloth with her handcuffed hand.

“Well, we can’t let them see their leader naked, it would be humiliating for the gang” Now they were both standing up playing tug of war with the mask.

“Ahem” The group had heard their commotion and were staring directly at them.
