Todoroki grimaced as he noticed that Momo had already joined Izuku's team. Damn. He had been hoping for her to help create insulation, as he had already recruited Kaminari, along with Iida. Now he needed another way to utilize Kaminari's Quirk without his own team being shocked. He should have expected Momo to team up with Izuku, but he had hoped of he was quick enough, and if they had a fight recently enough, he might convince her to be petty, though that had clearly been a long shot.

"You know, ice doesn't conduct electricity very well, right? It makes a good insulator," he heard someone say, and he turned to see Itsuka approaching him. "You plan to go against Izuku, right? I wanna see what he's made of myself. Room for one more?"

After Todoroki took a moment to recall what her Quirk was, he decided she was as good a fourth as any, and let her in. Meanwhile, Tsuyu was shifting from foot to foot as she stood with Shoji and Mineta. "...how did he talk us into working with him again, ribbit?" she asked Shoji.

"...he had a genuinely good plan," Shoji grunted. "And if he tries anything with you, I'll throw him to Midoriya, after you've had your own payback."

Setsuna meanwhile walked with Yanagi to find some other teammates, before noticing that General Studies student, Hitoshi Shinso, looking extremely annoyed as Tokoyami also was near him, saying something to Ojiro, who quickly walked away. "...okay, what gives?" Setsuna asked Tokoyami.

"...he has a mind control Quirk that kicks in when his target responds to someone," Tokoyami explained, getting a **** glare from Shinso. "He tried it with me, but Dark Shadow took over and snapped me out of it, now I'm giving fair warning to everyone he approaches..."

"...huh, that's actually useful," Setsuna grinned, looking at Shinso. "Dick move, but we can work with that..."

Tooru of course, stuck with people she could get along with, teaming up with Kyoka, Sato, and Koda. As for Mina and Kirishima... The latter had actually talked her into teaming up with Bakugo, as well as Sero. With the teams all set, Midnight walked around, writing down the teams, who the rider was, and giving them each a headband with their point totals written on it with a sharpie.

"Alright, everyone, take your positions!" Midnight declared when she was done. "We start in two minutes!"
