"So then, Red Dragon! Have you gotten enough Boosts distributed yet? If you want to give one more, I'll wait!" Kokabiel sneered, even as Raynare recovered enough to pull herself out of the crater.

"You're certainly overconfident!" Rias snapped as Issei gave her another Boost, putting her at the limit of the amount she could handle. With both hands, she produced a sphere of Destruction before bringing them together, fusing the two spheres in a volatile mix, and shot it at Kokabiel, who immediately started to hold it back with a grunt, and found himself straining slightly.

Akeno and Sona immediately took the opportunity to fly behind Kokabiel, who noticed as he struggled with Rias's attack. "...you must be Baraquiel's daugh-" he started to grunt.

"Don't you dare speak of me and him in the same breath!" Akeno shrieked as she and Sona collaborated, sending an electrified water shark at Kokabiel from behind, hoping to get him while he was occupied with Rias's attack. Instead of tanking it like he might have had the group been weaker, or Akeno had attacked alone, Kokabiel decided to channel Light through his wings to form a hasty **** field, which the attack splashed against.

"...shit, even that wasn't enough to do serious damage!" Rias cursed as Kokabiel dispersed her own Power of Destruction.

"So, you're nothing but Devil scum now, eh, daughter of Baraquiel?" Kokabiel taunted. "You certainly amassed quite the Peerage for yourself, Gremory! Like your brother, you seem to enjoy powerful oddities!" Akeno grit her teeth and looked away.

"Do not slander my br- Lord Lucifer!" Rias bellowed. "And mocking my Peerage has severe consequences!"

Kokabiel laughed, and spread out his arms. "Just try it! Let's see what you're really made of! Crimson Haired Ruin Princess!" Kokabiel cackled.

Kiba, Irina and Xenovia rushed in to attack Kokabiel from multiple sides, Kokabiel forming two Light Swords, and blocking Irina and Xenovia's attacks. He then grunted and moved his head back, barely avoiding Irina's follow up, her Excalibur Mimic warping its shape to bend and extend at his face. "These Excaliburs have some cheap tricks!" he remarked, before turning his attention to Xenovia. "So this is the real Durandal, hm? There's no mistaking it... But..." He slammed his knee into Xenovia's gut, sending her flying back. "It's only as strong as the user. The last wielder was uncommonly fierce!"

"Xenovia!" Irina shouted as she swung her Mimic about like a whip to pressure Kokabiel from one side as Kiba came down from above, slashing with his Balance Breaker at Kokabiel's head. Unfortunately, Kokabiel was fast enough to bring up his second Light Sword, and blocked.

Issei was about to jump in, and use his own Balance Breaker, imperfect and with only a limited amount of time available to him as it was, but Koneko beat him to it, rushing in, and while Kokabiel's arms were occupied, managed to get in his guard, she slammed her fist into his gut. "Grrk!" he grunted, but ultimately was more irked than hurt, and kicked Koneko away. Then, a Light Javelin was thrown at his back by Raynare, who was putting something away with her other hand.

Kokabiel however blasted back Kiba and Irina, as well as the Light Javelin with a weak, but omnidirectional burst of Light. As Kiba and the Exorcist skidded back, Kiba grunted. "Damn it... Even with all of us, and Balance Breaker, we can barely get any hits in, and the ones we do land aren't having much effect! But we can't lose here!" he shouted, planting his hand on the ground and causing more blades to rise up to try to stab Kokabiel.

"You're certainly persistent, aren't you?" Kokabiel sneered, using his wings to smash aside all the blades, before Kiba charged in, and swung the Sword of the Betrayer, managing to shatter Kokabiel's Light Sword, then going for another attack. Kokabiel shot his hand out and caught the blade, but hissed as it cut into his palm. These novices were certainly a little stronger than he had initially given credit for!

Xenovia then came in from the opposite side, and swung Durandal, having discarded Excalibur Destruction for the moment to swing her other blade with both hands, and Kokabiel raised his other Light Sword, but it too broke, and though he dodged the blade for the most part, the tip still carved a gouge into his cheek.

"... impressive. You certainly fight well," Kokabiel admitted as he flew up to avoid a follow up from Irina. Raynare again tried to get him from the side, but he swatted her aside. "Even though you lost your trusty Lord," he added as if Raynare's most recent sneak attack attempt had never happened.

"What the hell are you talking about!?" Irina demanded.

"Lost our Lord? Don't be ridiculous!" Xenovia shouted up at him as everyone else was watching with rapt attention, the implications of what Kokabiel said running through their minds.
