There appears to be someone sprinting around the lab. She seemed to have notived Maia

"Cease, invader!" the irritated woman yelled, still running around her lab. "Just hold on about ninety, ninety-five seconds and I'll yell at you then".

Maia wasn't sure exactly how to respond to either being told to cease, nor being labelled an 'invader'. Luckily, the busy woman butted in with more clarity "And don't touch anything."

After an excruciatingly long ninety-three seconds of gazing around this odd lab the woman finished doing whatever it was she was doing and approached Maia. The woman standing in front of her looked irritated at her intrusion.

"Who are you, why are you here, and when are you going to leave me alone?" the woman in front of her seemed outwardly average, not particularly tall nor fit, but certainly not either short or fat. She wore circular glasses and had curly black hair pulled neatly into a high ponytail. Even though her appearance was quite average, it seemingly screamed intellectual.

Maia responded softly, embarrassment tinging her words "I'm Maia Eidola, a new member of the {if MV School == true}MV{elseif Nova School == true}Nova{elseif Dyn School == true}Dyn{else}{endif} School and, to be honest, I don't really have a good reason for coming here. Guildmaster {if MV School == true}Marikis{elseif Nova School == true}Dujani{elseif Dyn School == true}Soki{else}{endif} mentioned this place and I thought it sounded interesting so I came check it out. Is... is that alright?"

The woman took almost no time in responding "You, thought it sounded interesting? That's it? You're not a spy for the Imperial Order or a recruiter for one of the Vanguards?"

"No ma'am. Just curious."

Her face lit up "That's absolutely wonderful! No one ever comes to visit unless I'm revealing another great advancement in science." Pausing briefly to adjust her glasses, the woman continued. "My name's Zoe. I'm the lead, and only, researcher at this Spinlab and if we are being honest, I could really use some help from time to time. Would you be willing to help me out?"

Maia nodded.

After a few dozen lectures on various mechanisms and gadgets which she in no way asked for, a chewing out for touching something without asking her first, and perhaps a lingering gaze or two at Zoe's impressive ass, Maia was burnt out for the day. She left the Spinlab with a standing invitation from Zoe to come back whenever she wanted with the assertion that she'd be put to work next time around.

"She's dedicated, erratic, and a genius; maybe I'll take her up on her offer and come back. If I'm not busy doing other things, that is."
