Unfortunately, some people wished to use this boost of power for more than just fucking. And thus ruined the world's view of supernaturals through their greed and absolute need for power.

One of these men was Aloysius Mackay, a wretched vampire who attempted to take over the monarchy of his time with the power of the Silver Moon. His plans were foiled however, when a Werewolf sought out the humans and gave them the means to defend themselves from this and all other supernatural threats.

Unfortunately, humans being humans, the king and his people did not distinguish between good and bad, they used the weapons to repel and kill any and all supernatural beings. The werewolf was exiled from his and all clans and Aloysius? He disappeared completely and without reason.

To this day, Supernaturals all over the world are still in hiding, for fear of being destroyed simply for existing. Though, there have been rumours of two rival factions.

The Guardians, honourable beings who defend all life from supernatural threats.

And the True-bloods. Followers of Aloysius' ideals, those who believe that humanity is inferior to all others and that the world should be ruled by those with the power and conviction to rule.
