The wrong side of the wrong town

"This looks like a good spot," said Anne-Marie, pulling the red Cadillac over. She hadn't had anything to drink yet, of course. We wouldn't want to set a bad example. "Bring them out."

Bonnie and Susie were brought out of the car, kicking and squirming all the way, and set down on the grass. They were in a muddy field on the outskirts of Greenvalley, Pinkwhistle's rival town, about a mile down the road. Monique, one of the cheerleaders, was looking around nervously.

"Are you sure we should be here?" she said. "You know what they're like."

"We'll be in and out before anyone notices," said Anne, dismissing her second-in-command with a wave of her hand. "Have fun getting home, dorks. Hope it doesn't take too long."

"Anne, you bitch! You can't just leave us here!" Bonnie struggled furiously against the duct tape binding her hands behind her back, which held fast. Her ankles were bound, as well. To make it back to their houses they'd have to sneak all across the town of Greenvalley, hop the mile down the road as passing cars honked at them, and sneak across Pinkwhistle as well before finally making it to Susie's house on the other side. It went without saying that they were still naked, of course.

"Why not?'

"It isn't funny!"

"Oh my god, it's hilarious! Are you dumb? Two dorks having to do the longest walk of shame of all time?"

"It's more like a hop of shame," pointed out Monique.

"Bestie! That's so true! Anyway, see ya! Wouldn't want to be ya!" Anne and Monique jumped back into the car, and zoomed off, leaving Bonnie and Susie stranded in the field, by Susie's estimation about four hours from home. On a very bright summer's day, when a lot of people would be about. She looked at Bonnie, reproachfully.

"Skinny-dipping," she said.

"Hey," said Bonnie, sounding a little guilty. "How was I supposed to know?"
