The weather interrupts their fun

Zack tried to follow Kurt's advice, spending some time talking to Lisa and Madison on the pier while watching the others play in the water. He was amazed at how easily conversation came between him and his ex-girlfriend, and of course, it was always amusing to endure Madison's witty remarks.

Glancing at the others, he chuckled as Kurt somehow roped Gavin into joining the others in the water as they played with a plastic ball. Eventually, Chloe came down wearing a long t-shirt and flip-flops and joined Taylor and Hannah in the sand. Sometime later, Hannah stood up and got into the water as well, just before the weather turned. The sky was already cloudy when they left Azure Rocks, but the clouds started turning even darker during the past hour.

"Guys! I think it's gonna rain!" Heather shouted as a warning. "We better head back inside."

With no other choice left, everyone began collecting their respective stuff before hurrying back to the cabin. Nearly everyone of them preferred to stay at the lake, but it just wasn't possible, as the rain that followed proved. Resigned to staying indoors, they all showered and then Heather, Vicky, Brandon and Lisa started preparing lunch for everyone.

After the twelve young men and women ate, they found themselves with a pressing question, what to do while the rain still raged outside. Movies and naps were thrown in as suggestions, but the winner eventually came from Hannah.

"Hey," the older blonde said. "Why don't we play a game?"

"Cards?" Ashley inquired.

"I think I've got a few board games in that cupboard," Heather pointed out.

Hannah laughed. "Actually, I was thinking something along the lines of..."
