Nolan has been the village tanner for a very long time. This means he has worked a lot with both the village hunter as well as the cattle farmer, who both supplied him with animal skins to turn into leather and parchment. The leather he provided made him good friends with both the tailor and the shoemaker. He also received a lot of visits from Keira, the scribe’s apprentice from back then, resulting in a relationship between the two. They eventually tied the knot and had two children. These days however, Nolan is looking forward to his retirement and eagerly awaits the day his apprentice can take over as the new tanner.

Keira’s mother was made pregnant with her on Samhain, thus making it so Keira is a reborn ancestor. Like many a Samhain child, she was the favorite child in her family, and much was expected of her. When the elders discovered Keira had an appreciation for literature, they suggested for her to apprentice as a scribe. They were proven correct as Keira loved to read and took great pride in recording important events, as well as copying the druid’s books so the knowledge remains preserved. Her marriage to Nolan also had the added benefit of granting her easy access to parchment for her writing. Due to her job as scribe, Keira has a position among the elders of the village and is partially responsible for setting up the laws and customs of the village.

Kenric is Nolan and Keira’s second child and only son. He is an introverted person and prefers to keep to himself. This doesn’t mean he lacks any interest in relationships, though. He would love nothing more than to finally have a wife that he can cuddle with. Alas, he has no idea what things to say to the women of his village to make them notice him in a positive way. He has participated in Samhain every year since he was 18 and also caught a girl each year. At first he didn't mind just enjoying the girls, but when he was still unmarried at 25, he started trying to impregnate the girls, in hopes to get a wife one day. So far, he has not been able to impregnate any of the village girls. He has been able to impregnate 2 traveler girls however. But kenric couldn't bear to leave his village and live with a traveler clan, so his Samhain children are being raised away from him. Only when the particular clan comes around for their 5 yearly visit does he get to see them again, but neither of the mothers want their children to know of him and told their children their father has left the village.

Fionula is Nolan and Keira’s only daughter and first child. As a young girl, she enjoyed the stories her mother would tell and always focused her imagination on what clothes the people in the story would wear. So, it was of no wonder that she apprenticed as a tailor. An easy feat for her, since her father was good friends with the tailor of back then. When she took over, any time she had need of some leather to make it into a belt or otherwise work it into the clothes, all she had to do is ask her dad for some.

Connor is Fionula’s husband and is the village weaver. Many fellow villagers asked Fionula if her parents made her marry Connor because, as the tailor, she would obviously have a lot of need for the cloth Connor produces. But their pairing is actually more as a result of romance. On one of the Samhain nights, after the bonfire, Fionula strayed from the path and got caught by Connor. It was not her first time getting caught, but it was the first time a guy bothered to help her achieve orgasm. After their climaxes, Fionula asked Connor if he could walk with her back to the village, which he did. This made her very appreciative with him and she fell in love. They got into a serious relationship shortly after and got married before the next Samhain.

Conway is Connor’s older brother. Due to being the oldest, he inherited their parent’s orchard. As one of the people responsible for the production of food, Conway is a very important member of the village. But sadly, the inheritance of his orchard lies in question, as Conway doesn’t have any sons. He does have a daughter who currently works on his orchard as an aide, but she is married to the oldest son of the horse keeper. When her husband inherits the stable, there is a large chance Conway’s daughter will follow her husband to take care of the horses.

Rowen is the oldest child and only son of Connor and Fionula. With his uncle Conway having no certain heir, he becomes the most likely person to inherit the orchard. This means Rowen could become a very influential person in the village. Though Rowen is more helpful than ambitious and is not yearning to take over for his uncle. Rather, he wishes for his uncle to live as long and happy as possible, and if his cousin ends up inheriting the orchard instead, then so be it.

Rowena is Rowen’s younger sister and Connor and Fionula’s only daughter. She has only recently turned 18, meaning she will get to experience her first Samhain. Her young age also makes it so she has not yet chosen an apprenticeship. Though she has promised to think about an apprenticeship after Samhain.
