Standing in front of a door, he's fairly sure it's-
Another bang, loud this time.
Definitely on the other side.
Telling himself ghosts and homunculus are not real, he takes a deep breath and opens the door.
Immediately he notices the room lighter than the hall, a massive window allowing for some visibility despite the storm. Looking at it, Ethan sees the problem.
Frowning, he walks over to the open window fixing and securing it closed. The wind was blowing it to and fro, banging it against the frame on particularly heavy gusts. Sighing, he rubs his head. He's had it up to his ears with old houses.
Turning to leave, he spots something an easel leaning against the far wall, a covered-up painting sitting on it.
He knows he should get back to Alex...
