You awaken to
The smell of coffee and bacon
Sunlight filters through the curtains, and the aroma of bacon and coffee pulls you from sleep. It takes several moments of unfamiliar feelings to remind you that for the first time you were waking up in the body of a woman. It started to dawn on you that it wasn't just the sexy things, you were going to do everything as a woman now. You'd wake up as a woman, brush your teeth as a woman, use the toilet as a woman, pay your taxes as a woman. This wasn't a fantasy, it was reality, your reality. Every move you made as the soft sheets rubbed against your new curves hit home that this was you now. It felt as daunting as exciting.
Alice isn't beside you, of course she'd be the source of the appetizing breakfast smells. You slip out of bed, still naked, and grab a robe from the chair. It's one of hers, silky and pink, unmistakable for a masculine garment. You suspect this was by design.
Downstairs, she's in the kitchen, humming, dressed in yoga pants and a tank top.
"Morning, Penny," she says, plating eggs. "Sleep well?"
You nod, blushing. "Yeah. Like a baby."
She smiles, setting food in front of you. "Good. Eat up. We've got a busy day."
As you dig in, she sips coffee. "Our financial manager, Fred, texted. He scheduled a high-end realtor for us this afternoon. Says it's time to upgrade from this rental. Luxury spots downtown, lake views, the works."
You pause mid-bite. Excitement mixes with nerves. A new home means committing to this life further.
"Sounds good," you say. "What time?"
"Two o'clock. Plenty of time to get ready."
Her eyes gleam with mischief.
