The shrine

After the balm was dried sako's mom let her in, but sako's relief was shortlived because soon her mom told her to get in the car.

"where are we going?" asked sako.

"to the shrine, I told you already" replied her mom.

"but I'm fine already, the balm worked"

"But if we don't go offer a prayer to Sukunahikona-no-Kami you'll fall sick again soon, maybe even worse"

"but I'm fine, I don't need to go to the shrine"

"stop complaining and get in the car"

Sako didn't wanted to go to the shrine, she knew that her mom was not going to change her mind, she got in the car and they drove off, sako felt anxious as they approached the shrine, she was sure there be a lot of people.

They got to the shine and just as sako guessed there was a multitude of shintoist praying and offering their prayers, she tried to get back in the car but her mom **** her to get out.

"come on, let's go pray" said sako's mom taking her by the hand.

"I don't want to go" said sako trying to pull her hand away.

"stop being stubborn, come with me"

"no, I don't want to"

"sako, if you don't come with me I'll have to carry you"

"you can't do that, there are too many people"

"I can and I will, now come with me, this is not the time to throw a fit, it's for your own good"

Sako didn't wanted to cause a scene in front of all those people so she complied and walked with her mom towards the shrine, she walked slowly and trying to make herself smaller, she was trying to hide her nudity, she kept looking at the ground yet she was sure heads turned as she passed by.

Finally they got to the shrine, her mom started to pray and sako followed her example, she prayed for all the gods to get her out of this situation, she wasn't really faithful so she didn't knew if the gods would listen to her, but she hoped they would, she prayed for five minutes.

While sako was praying a shrine maiden carrying a bucket of water was passing behind her, the shrine maiden jumped in shock when she saw sako's naked backside, this caused the water oft her bucket to fall in no other than sako, the water washed away the balm along with the made up red spots, leaving her skin glistening in health an beauty.

Sako gasped as she felt the cold water hit her backside, she turned around and saw the shocked face of the shrine maiden, she blushed strongly and covered her breasts with her hands.

Meanwhile her mom that saw the red spots in sako's body gone took it as the ways the kami had to heal her daughter, she smiled in satisfaction and turned to sako "see? I told you it was going to work"

Sako couldn't say anything, she only stared at her mom in disbelief.

"Now that you're healed we can go back home" said her mom taking sako by the hand and leading her to the car.

Sako was blushing strongly and covering herself with her hands as she got to the car, she didn't dared to look at the people watching her.

They got to the car and drove back home, sako's mom was happy that her daughter was healed but sako was not, she was angry and embarrassed, she couldn't believe how humiliating her fake illness ended up being, she was going to give her mom a piece of her mind, any day... For now the only thing that mattered was getting home and getting dressed.
