The pranks continue

The Doctor grinned as he entered the TARDIS.

His mission had been a success, and judging by the sight that greeted him, things had worked out just how he'd hoped in the time machine.

He was starting to feel chilly, which would make it unbearable for someone dressed in their birthday suit. There was a telltale damp patch on the floor; Ruby's bladder had finally given up. The girl in question was nowhere to be found, but a trail of wet footprints led away from the crime scene. It didn't take a detective to work out the teenager had trodden in her own mess before making a getaway.

The Doctor followed the trail; first to Ruby's bedroom to collect a change of clothes, and then doubling back through the console room to the shower.

The timelord heard the sound of running water as he approached. Silently opening the door, he could see Ruby's silhouette through the frosted shower screen. A towel was gently warming on the heated rail, and her outfit was folded

It](http://neatly.It) was cute, the Doctor conceded as he scooped up her garments; but not as cute as she'd look streaking through the TARDIS.

The Doctor grinned when he heard Ruby's loud swearing echo through the corridors of the time machine.

His companion had two routes back to her bedroom; she could either be seen streaking through the console room, or take the much longer route that would almost certainly see her get lost.

He had his answer a short while later.

"Don't look at me, don't look at me, don't look at me!" Ruby squealed as she sprinted across the cavernous room.

The timelord watched on, amused, as Ruby's bare body flashed past; arms wrapped around her chest, and wet feet loudly slapping against the floor.

The teenager returned to the console room a few minutes later. Rather than wrap herself in a robe and risk losing it, Ruby was fully dressed, even though it meant that with no towel to dry herself, her outfit quickly became damp. A wise choice, as the Doctor had been formulating a plan for her to fall out of her robe.

Water droplets glistened on her exposed face, legs and arms, and water dripped out of her soaking wet, blonde hair.

She failed to see the funny side of the prank, and confronting the Doctor about it only made him more amused; it's hard to be intimidating when you're small, soaking wet, and embarassed.

The Doctor kept the TARDIS cold so that it would take Ruby longer to air dry.

She shivered her way through the next couple of hours, before taking herself off to bed while still wet, wanting to put this horrible, horrible day behind her.
