The next target

Of all the girls in the school, there is one who has always caught my eye.

Lyn.

Why, well, you have to remember something. I, am a nerd. And she looks like Lyn from Fire Emblem.

I'm pathetic, I know.

Anyway, I finally gathered the courage to talk to her, which didn't take as long as I thought it would.

"Hey, um, Lyn. There's something I've been meaning to ask you" I said nervously. I'm still not confident when it comes to girls ok.

"Yeah, and what's that" she asked with a neutral expression.

"You look a lot like Lyn from Fire Emblem, do you happen to know that character" I asked her. I watched her face brighten into a smile as she laughed.

"Wow, and here I thought you were coming over to hit on me or something. Yes, and she's my favorite" she said, making my smile widen. I just found another Fire Emblem fan.

"Awesome. Did you dye your hair, or is it natural" I asked as we started to walk.

"It's natural" she said before whipping me in the face with it. Ow.

"How is that possible" I asked her, only to get a playful smirk.

"Don't question it" she said. Ok.

"Great, he found another Fire Emblem nerd" said Jasmine as she rolled her eyes behind us. Amy nervously laughed and waved at Lyn.

"You're cute" Lyn said to Amy, sending her into a blushing fit.

"She gets embarrassed easily" said said as I messed up Amy's hair, making her make some really cute noises. Lyn couldn't help but laugh.

"Ok, I like you guys. Let's talk some more Fire Emblem at lunch" said Lyn, making my smile grow even more.
