The next morning

It wasn't long after meeting Ellie that your parents showed up with the rest of your stuff and you started loading it into the room, putting away your clothes, setting up your TV (plus the console for Doom Gods), and putting sheets on your bed. With everything settled, you spent the evening with your parents, doing a bit of sightseeing then having dinner before your parents headed for their hotel, and you headed back to your dorm room.

After how eventful the day was, you pretty much went to sleep immediately having dreams of how awesome college was going to be. In the morning, you awoke and went to get dressed when you found something... odd in your drawers.

Amongst your boxers was a lone pair of women's panties. A lone pair of powder blue women's panties in your underwear drawer. Not that you'd know, but it didn't look like it would fit your mother, in fact, if you didn't know any better, you'd say that it would fit you! But that's ridiculous, you don't own any panties! But you knew someone who probably did, and had access to your room briefly.

Knocking on the door next door, Ellie opened the door, wiping sleep from her eyes.

"Marshall, what's up?" she asked.

"Is this someone's idea of a freshman prank?" you asked, holding up the panties.

"What do you mean?" Ellie asked.

"What do you mean what do I mean? Look at them!" you shook them for emphasis.

"They're a little plain, sure, but I don't understand why you're so upset!" Ellie shrugged.

"Because they're panties?!"

"I can see that, listen, I just woke up, I'm not even sure what day it is, can we circle back to this later?"

What the hell was wrong with her? Why didn't she seem to notice that you were holding up a pair of women's underwear? Is it because it's college? You sure hope you didn't give her any indication that you wore panties yesterday!

"Uh, yeah, sure. Sorry, it's just so weird..." you sighed. "Got my console set up last night..."

"Shoulda led with that, Marshall! Wanna head down to the dining hall for breakfast together and then head back up for a quick 1v1?" Ellie asked.

"I'd like that." you replied.

That still left you with no answers as to "How" or "Why" the panties got into your drawer, but you supposed it wasn't life-threatening, and you could always go to the R.A. if it kept going. You went back into your dorm and tossed the panties into the closet, you figured at the very least you could pretend it was from a nonexistent sexual conquest to impress people if anyone found them. Changing into a pair of boxers, you got yourself ready for breakfast.
