The new everyday life of the Fantastic Four

CHAPTER 8

Everyday life changed rapidly for the Fantastic Four, and especially for Susan Storm Richards.

In public, they continued to fight evil together as a team, traveled to alien dimensions, and lived as a family in their Baxter Building, but within their own ranks, things had changed. Sue continued to be the loving wife and mother who cared for her family, but Namor, King of Atlantis, was now an integral part of her life, demanding and receiving much of her time and attention.

Sue's former private space on the roof now belonged to Namor and Sue. That's where they spent the most undisturbed time at the beginning of their new relationship. On the pool lounger, the Invisible Woman experienced for the first time how good a tongue piercing felt; of course, she also pampered her king at all times. And the Atlantean loved to take his human playmate in the water because it reminded him of home.

Their newfound love, however, would soon be limited to more than just the rooftop, with Sue's screams echoing throughout the Baxter Building.

Namor was a strong, potent lover who constantly challenged Sue and brought out unsuspected sides in her that she herself didn't even know she possessed. She had previously felt invisible when her husband disappeared into his laboratory for long periods, but that wasn't the case with the King of Atlantis.

Namor increasingly intruded on the everyday lives of the Fantastic Four, changing things to suit his own needs. Ben didn't like this change, no longer understood his best friend, and hoped things would soon turn around. Johnny wondered if the Atlantean way was for him, too. And what about Reed? Mr. Fantastic accepted the new situation and buried himself even deeper in his work. Reed and Sue explained to their two children that their mother, in addition to their father, now had another man by her side, whom she loved very much. Franklin wasn't enthusiastic, and Valeria simply said that this was to be expected, given all the secret glances they exchanged before their mission together.

Namor claimed Sue's body entirely for his own physical pleasure, but that would soon no longer be enough for him. She was a white Atlantean love goddess, and her body was to be molded to his needs and desires.
