While going right into the club room seemed like a crazy idea, it actually was the most reasonable option.

For one, the bathroom wouldn't have anything to offer outside of a hiding place. Also, girls could be exceedingly cruel, and she did not want her plight discovered there.

She also knew that some athletic clubs kept spare uniforms handy, and Chihiro was certainly staking her hopes on that possibility.

Fortunately, she made it into the club room just in time to miss the ringing bell.
