The morning after

The smell of bacon woke Dean up. He looked at his phone, it was past noon. Dean felt well rested, he doesn’t usually get to sleep in on the weekends. Breakfast smelled great, he was excited to see what Brooke cooked for him. Dean headed downstairs and into the kitchen.

Brooke was sitting at the kitchen table, she was wearing a giant shirt that basically was a dress on her, it was Chris’ shirt. Dean assumed she was naked underneath the shirt. She didn’t notice Dean until he said, “Morning.” Brooke looked up and smiled at him. Coming from the other side of the kitchen Dean heard, “Good morning Dean!” Dean turned his head to see Chris, he hasn’t left yet.

Chris was at the stove top cooking. He didn’t have a shirt on, Brooke was wearing it. You could see all of his rolls and man boobs, he really wasn’t ashamed of his body. “Oh, hey…” Dean said to Chris. Dean sat down at the table across from Brooke who hasn’t spoken a word yet. Dean didn’t know what to say since Chris was within ear shot.

Chris broke the silence by placing breakfast on the table in front of the two of them. But then he kept getting more and more food to place on the table, it was as if they were having a feast, surely it was way too much food for the three of them. Chris was finally done bring food over and sat down between Brooke and Dean.

Brooke spoke for the first time since Dean was downstairs, “Thank you Chris for this lovely breakfast!” She even gave him a smile. “Anything for you beautiful.” Chris said in response and reciprocated a smile. Dean watched the interaction, neither one acknowledging him. They both started eating the food, Dean didn’t thank Chris but was very hungry and started eating the food anyway.

Chris broke the silence and talked to Dean directly, he started asking about him, what he did and nice friendly questions. Dean knew what he was doing, he was trying to get to know Dean. Chris was just being a nice guy, he had no idea Dean was actually Brooke’s boyfriend, he was still under the impression that he is her brother.

Dean finished his food but didn’t leave the table, he was unsure what to do, he of course wanted Chris to leave so he could talk to Brooke alone. Dean kept looking back and forth between Brooke and Chris. Chris was still eating, he was putting down so much food, it was kind of disgusting to watch. He was talking to Brooke with his mouth full. Dean looked over to Brooke who also finished eating awhile ago, she was sipping on some tea, she didn’t look over to Dean at all, she kept her eye fixated on Chris and hanging on every word he was saying, it was some lame story about something, Dean wasn’t paying attention of course.

Chris was finally done eating. Dean looked at the table and all the plates were empty, he ate all the food. Chris started collecting the plates and brought them over to the sink, he was cleaning up. Brooke got up to help him while Dean stayed seated at the table. “Hey Chris, I got this, you made breakfast, I’ll clean up!” Brooke said. “Are you sure? It’s not a big deal…” Chris started to say before Brooke stopped him. “I’m sure!” She said with a smile. Dean wanted to gag at how nice they were being to each other.

“Okay! Do you mind if I go take a shower?” Chris asked Brooke. “Go ahead, towels are under the sink,” Brooke responded. Chris kissed Brooke on the top of her head before leaving the kitchen.

Chris was up the stairs and Dean was still sitting at the table staring at Brooke waiting for her to turn around. He waited a minute but Brooke was busy cleaning dishes and seemingly ignoring him. Dean got up and walked over to Brooke, “what the fuck is going on?” He had a harsh tone in his voice. She finally looked at him, she looked angry, “What do you mean? I’m just doing what you want!” She retorted. “Acting like boyfriend and girlfriend?” Dean questioned her. Brooke rolled her eyes at him and then looked back at the dishes, “This is much easier than having to try and get rid of him every time…” Brooke said, “Plus you just keep letting him get inside, I think you enjoy me having degrading embarrassing sex with him…” Dean was mad because he knows he didn’t let him in on purpose even though that is what Brooke thinks happens. “I didn’t… I don’t…” Dean stuttered before being interrupted.

Chris called down from upstairs, “Brooke? Can you help me with the shower… all the knobs… I’m not sure how it works…” he laughed to himself. Brooke yelled back, “Yeah, I’ll be right there honey!” She said ‘honey’ with extra emphasis to annoy Dean, which worked. She gave Dean a smirk before leaving the kitchen, “Why don’t you make yourself useful and finish cleaning the dishes…” Brooke said before she disappeared from the kitchen.

Dean stood in the kitchen dumbfounded how he is the one to blame in all of this. Dean hears the shower come on, he waited patiently for Brooke to come back so they could continue their conversation. He waited and waited and realized she wasn’t coming back. Annoyed, Dean pulled out his phone to see what was going on. Unsurprisingly Brooke was in the shower with Chris, what was surprising was that they were talking and actually taking a shower. Brooke was putting shampoo in her hair while Chris was washing his body. The shower looked really crowded with him in there.

Dean starting cleaning the dishes, not because Brooke told him to but because he didn’t want to watch Brooke and Chris in the shower, he wanted a distraction.

Dean finished up the dishes and shortly after he heard the shower turn off. Good he thought, they will be down shortly. He went into the living room, turned the TV on and waited for them. They didn’t come down, Dean was wrong again.

Dean knew what they were doing, he didn’t need to check his phone. He decided to ignore it, Brooke having sex with Chris wasn’t attractive to Dean anymore, it annoyed him more than anything. Maybe he should just call the game off.

Dean was starting to become impatient now, a couple hours have passed and he hasn’t heard anything from Brooke or Chris. Dare he check the camera?
