The fight against Morpha goes easily, and Link is reunited with her love.

From there, the rest of the Water Temple went easily. Perhaps it was because of the new body, but Link felt no challenge whatsoever, and her confidence was skyrocketing. Even Morpha, the strange creature that held the fate of the Zora people in its tentacles, was nothing. Soon, the monster was dead, and Link stood triumphant and proud.

"You did well," came a purr from behind her, and Link turned around and fell to the ground on one knee at the sight of her princess. "Rise, hero." Link did as she asked, and allowed her eyes to see the absolute beauty of the woman she loved. "I promised you a reward, did I not? Name a thing, anything, and you shall have it."

Inside Link's chest, her heart was beating so hard, and so fast, it was hard to even hear the words Ruto had said to her. Anything? She could have absolutely anything she wanted? Her first thought was to deny the request, and make it clear to the Princess she was only here to serve. But the ego she'd built up, the love for her princess as well, was too much, she had to say something.
