The druid’s family (Cerridwen, Zayden, Dunla and Maire’s families)

Kevon is the village’s druid and a Samhain child. Due to his status as a Samhain child, he was able to start studying at an early age. When it came time for him to participate in Samhain, he did so and managed to catch Caireann, another Samhain child, 3 years in a row. Despite them never getting a Samhain child of their own, they figured it was a sign that they were meant for each other and so got married.
Due to Kevon being the village druid, he has position among the elders, like all druids always do.

Caireann used to be one of the teachers in the village. Caireann enjoyed going to school, where the 6 to 12 year olds gather and play with each other while their parents are working. After she finished school, she preferred to keep going there and help the other teachers take care of the kids. It was pretty obvious that Caireann would make for a good teacher.
Caireann had several guys who wanted her, but she wanted to let Samhain decide who would be her boyfriend. The first guy who caught her was Kevon, a fellow Samhain child. Caireann and Kevon tried a relationship after that, but their schedule’s didn’t match up. When she had free time, he had to work and vice versa, so they broke up. For her second Samhain, she got caught by Kevon again. Despite them breaking up before, they missed each other and made sure to have a passionate night. Though they decided to not get into a new relationship. For Caireann’s third Samhain, she got caught by Kevon again. This time, both of them understood the elders wanted them to be together and so, they got into a relationship again and this time they would find a way to make it work. They succeeded and got married to later have 3 wonderful children.

Mariel is Kevon and Caireann’s first child and first daughter. Due to Mariel being the oldest of her siblings, she often helped out. Especially when her brother was being difficult. While Mariel was a teenager, her mother had an accident and had to stay in bed for quite a while. Mariel decided to take over her mother’s duties in the school for as long as she was sick. But Mariel never expected to enjoy taking care of the village’s children like that. So even when her mother could work as a teacher again, Mariel continued helping out as an apprentice teacher, until she became a teacher in her own right.
With her mother having retired from teaching, Mariel is now the senior teacher of the village and therefore has a position among the elders.
Mariel was not very much interested in straying, so she kept to the path. She did eventually get approached by the carpenter apprentice, Keithan. They had some picknicks together, they kissed some and even met each other on Samhain. Mariel on the path, Keithan walking beside the path. The last Samhain before they married, Mariel finally strayed for her first time. Just for Keithan. She didn’t end up taking his Samhain child, but that didn’t matter to her.

Keithan has known Mariel for a couple of years, but he never really saw her as anything more than just an acquaintance. Up until he and the carpenter he was apprenticing under were both called to the school to do some repairs. That was when he finally started noticing her. Since her way from home to school was along his parent’s house, Keithan made sure to learn at what times Mariel usually walked by and greeted her every time. All the while working on a wooden figurine. Once the figurine was finished, he showed it to her and also asked her if she could join him for a picknick. Mariel was surprised, but flattered, and agreed. They enjoyed a couple of romantic picknicks and kissed on the third one. From then on, every date they went on had kisses. The next Samhian, Keithan waited next to the path for Mariel to show up, and when she did, he didn’t ask her to stray for him. He simply walked with her back to the village, sometimes asking for a kiss and sometimes receiving one. When Keithan eventually asked Mariel to marry him, she agreed, but under the condition that it would be after the next Samhain. Like usual, they met at the path, but this time Mariel decided to stray for the first time, for him specifically, and made passionate love to Keithan. She didn’t end up taking his Samhain child, but he was just happy he got with the woman he loved.

Cerridwen is Mariel and Keithan’s first child and the village’s scribe apprentice. Normally, only Samhain children are permitted to become scribes. But in this generation, none of the Samhain children had any interest in literature. So to prevent having the only scribe pass away from old age with no replacements, the position was opened for a non-Samhain child. Cerridwen and Tiona both proposed, but after a while it became noticeable that Cerridwen had the better handwriting. So Cerri became the official Scribe apprentice.
This made it so Cerridwen often had to visit Keira, Rowen’s grandmother, and they got to know each other a bit, but not much more. It was during Cerridwen’s first Samhain, when she walked home along the path, that she came across Rowen. After some playfulness, she decided not to stray for him, but date him some days after Samhain. They formed a close relationship and even had sex a few times, but by the time next Samhain came around, they were not yet ready to marry. Cerridwen asked Rowen to not participate and stay home instead. She would stay on the path and not be with anyone. This way she would be his and his alone. Unfortunately, Logan was close to the path and met her there. He told Cerridwen that he had seen Rowen having sex with Dunla after having caught her. Cerridwen could not believe that Rowen broke his word to her and was having sex with her cousin. But she heard moans coming from the direction that Jason was pointing at. So Cerri strayed from the path to see for herself. That is when Logan caught her and demanded sex from Cerri, but she refused and went to check if what Logan said was true. But when she got to where the sounds were coming from, she noticed it were Kaileigh and Glenton having sex. Not Rowen and Dunla. Logan had lied to her just so he could get her to stray and catch her. She was now **** to give him sex. Rowen later found out and it hit him hard enough that he decided to break up with her. Cerridwen spent the next year, trying to make up with Rowen and being publicly toxic to Logan. But no matter how many times Cerri apologizes, Rowen has lost any interest in her.

Zayden is Mariel and Keithan’s second child and the village’s carpenter’s apprentice. If Zayden does not become the new carpenter, the workshop would be inherited outside the family. Keithan would prefer for that not to happen, but also wanted Zayden to make his own choices. So he first had a discussion with his son about it, and Zayden agreed to try his hand at becoming a carpenter. He took to the craft well and is becoming quite skilled.
Last year, Zayden has been getting close to the oldest of the two milkmaids, Kaileigh. They have already fooled around a bit and it is getting pretty serious. Enough for Kaileigh to want Zayden’s Samhain child. Usually, it are undesirable girls who try to tie any man to themselves through a Samhain child. But when a desirable girl wants your Samhain child and yours alone, it’s a big deal. And after some use of her feminine charms, Kaileigh successfully seduced Zayden into agreeing. The both of them have a plan to meet up at Zayden’s first Samhain where he will give her his Samhain child, and then he will get married to one of the prettiest girls in the village.

Maeron is Kevon and Caireann’s second child and first son. He is also the village hunter. When Maeron was young, he often went with his father into the forest to gather herbs or leaves. While this provided him with some information on the plants, he was far more interested in the animals instead. Once it was time for him to choose a profession, he decided to quickly chose to be a hunter. Due to him heading into the forest on a daily basis, he often met the village apprentice forager, Deirdre. They became friends, but agreed they were just friends and didn’t start a relationship. Though at Maeron’s second Samhain, he caught Deirdre. Being such good friends, they decided to pretend to be lovers for that night and see where fate would get them. It got them into having a Samhain child and subsequent marriage. Maeron doesn’t regret it at all.

Deirdre is Maeron’s wife and the village forager. Back when she was apprenticing as a forager, she often came across Maeron in the forest. They after had interesting conversations about the things they noticed. Sometimes Maeron told her about a patch of mushroom that has sprung up, and other times Deirdre told him about some bunnies or foxes she had noticed. Her female friends noticed how close Maeron and her had become, but she assured them they were just friends. Though, when Maeron caught her on her third Samhain, Deirdre was curious about her friend’s accusations and wanted to see if she and Maeron really could be lovers. She asked him if they could pretend, Maeron agreed, and they did it without restrictions. As a result, she ended up with his Samhain child and getting married to her best friend. Deirdre has no regrets.

Dunla is Maeron and Deirdre’s first daughter and Samhain child. When growing up, Dunla had great respect for her aunt and grandmother and wanted to become a teacher as well. She has also become one of the most beautiful women in the village. While Dunla has an interest in being romantically involved with some guy, she also wants to have a Samhain child. Which is why she is hesitant about starting a relationship. Imagine she gets a guy to fall in love with her, only be receive some other guy’s Samhain child. It would be too cruel. So Dunla chooses to be without a boyfriend. She will wait until someone impregnates her on Samhain and becomes her husband. Then Dunla will engage in romance with that guy.

Maire is Maeron and Deirdre’s second daughter and apprentices under her father as a huntress. Maire has a certain notoriety inside the village due to her mischievous and childish attitude. Ever since being a little kid, Maire has loved the outdoors and going out hunting with her father. while she doesn't seem to take most things seriously, she takes great pride in perfecting the village's hunting culture. Maire's father Maeron prefers the bow and arrow while Maire has found it more lucrative to set traps instead and spends a great deal of time setting them up and skinning the animals. Her methods are much more effective than her father's in catching smaller critters which makes her stand out as an unlikely genius within the village.
Her athletic body and good looks are things she shares with her older sister have made her popular with the boys and absolutely hated by most of the girls in the village. Due to her boyish and childish attitude and spending all her time in the forest setting traps, Maire doesn't have many friends her age. Despite this she is very popular with certain boys and almost all the younger children in the village. One boy that has gone the extra mile for her is the rope maker's son Brenyn who has also apprenticed under Maire's father in hopes of getting closer to the elusive trapper. But so far Brenyn has only been the subject of Maire's tricks more than anything else. Despite this, Maire considers him as her only actual friend.
Maire's carefree attitude and enthusiasm with traps has resulted in her making a mockery of the Samhain event held every year. Before the event she sets up dozens of hidden traps in the forest made specifically to catch other participants of the event. This is of course not how the traditional event is supposed to play out. If her father didn't have direct influence with the elders, and also didn't find it as funny as she did, she would be disqualified from the event. But despite her frustrating nature and childish behavior, she has managed to repeat her naughty Samhain plans for the two previous years and has no intention of stopping or playing by others' rules this year.

Aine is Kevon and Caireann’s third child and second daughter. Having both a mother and an older sister who are teachers, Aine got a lot of oversight at home. She felt constrained and wanted to move out as soon as she could. So as soon as she became 18, she decided to live by herself. She had her own home and apprenticed as a spinner. Aine took relationships lightly and had no problem inviting guys over for some sexual pleasure. Both men who were single, who were already dating, men who were older than her, men who were already married. As long as she approved of the guy, he would get her pussy. It didn’t take long for her to be known as the matrass of the village and she didn’t care. At least, not at first.
In her first 10 Samhain, Aine refused to accept a guy’s seed inside her womb. She didn’t want a marriage to ruin the fun she was having. But when she neared 30, she started to feel lonely and felt like having a family. But by now, none of the guys wanted her as their wife. Even Kenric, who she previously always rejected, had now turned his back on her. This left Samhain as the only way for Aine to have a child. She was only able to trick guys to cum inside her when it was too dark for them to recognize it was her they caught. Eventually, she succeeded and too the Samhain child of Maddoc, farmer Gavin’s oldest son.
With her marriage to Maddoc secured, Aine could now give up on being a spinner and became a farmwife on the Gavin farm. While she was happy to have a 10-year younger husband, Maddoc was not. Though since she was the only woman on the farm, Maddoc was fine with using her to soothe his sexual frustrations. Last year though, Maddoc has been losing interest in his wife sexually, which coincidentally happened some time after Gwyneth started working on the farm.

Maddoc is farmer Gavin’s first son and Samhain child. This makes Maddoc a perfect heir for Gavin to pass his farm to. Although this didn’t happen without any father/son clashes. When Maddoc got into his teenage years, he got curious about the bow and arrow. This made the elders believe that Maddoc might have been a hunter in his past life and it might be wise to train him into becoming the next hunter. But if that happened, Maddoc would no longer be inheriting the farm and Gavin would not allow that. So, Gavin made certain to never let Maddoc learn how to use a bow. This left Maddoc with a lasting resentment.
Gavin also pushed his son into Samhain and to try and motivate him to have offspring. Which eventually happened when Maddoc caught a girl in the dark of the night. Unable to see her face, he thought he came inside a girl who was younger than him, while instead it was the 10 year older Aine. Her pregnancy then sealed his marriage to an older woman to provide for his Samhain child. Except, the child ended up being a girl, who would not be able to inherit the farm.
Ever since Gwendolyn started working at the farm, Maddoc now finally has a younger than him that he can have some sex with, instead of his old wife.

Ceana is Maddoc and Aine’s first daughter and Samhain child. Had she been a boy, she would be able to one day inherit the farm from her father. But since the isn’t, the farm will either be inherited by a brother, that he parents still have to produce, or it will go to one of her uncles. It also means it is much more likely for Ceana to be able to follow her interests what her father wasn’t able to do.
