The date

I was extremely nervous, but it was going pretty well. The two of us were sitting at our table and chatting with each other. The conversation was mostly about funny cat stories.

"One time, my cat was sitting next to my pool, just staring at the water. I sneezed, and it jumped into the air, and into the pool" I said, making her laugh. My god her laugh is adorable. Just hearing it brightens my day.

"I wish you got a video of that" she said while laughing. Once she calmed down, she smiled at me.

"Joseph, I know this might be a little insensitive, but why don't your parents live with you" she asked. Oh boy, this question. I hate this question.

"They didn't want me, so they just left me behind. They pay for everything, but they don't care about me" I said. This fact still hurts. What I wasn't expecting was for Amy to take my hand.

"I know you're lonely, but you have me now" she said. Wow, my brain is overloading.

"Th-thanks Amy" I said. This made her smile brightly again.

"I ah, do have one question" she said nervously.

"What is it" I asked. She took a deep breath and looked me in the eye.

"Is something going on between you and Jasmine" she asked. Oh great, another question I didn't want to hear.

"No, I don't think so at least. Does that bother you" I asked her. She seemed to get even more nervous and blushed even stronger.

"To be honest, I'm not opposed to sharing you. S-so if you two were together, I wouldn't be against it" she said nervously. That must be the Harem magic working.

"Amy, are you saying" I started, but couldn't find it in me to continue.

"I want to be with you. I-I-I-I think I love you" she stumbled. I smiled, and kissed her. She gasped, then wrapped her arms around my head and deepened the kiss. I can't believe it, I'm kissing a girl.

When I got home, I basically skipped into my house. I didn't even notice the strange car in my driveway. When I got inside, Jasmine was cuddling all the animals, even the snake, on the couch.

"So, how did it go" she asked.

"It was amazing" I said.

"Good. Um, there's someone upstairs waiting for you. You're not going to like it" she said. I was confused, so I went upstairs and into my room.
