The caller controls everything

Exactly as she feared, there was another call right after. She didn't pick up, and kept walking. She knew she had to get out of the mall immediately. How did the caller know so much? Was she being stalked? How much did he know? As she got to the car park her worst fears were confirmed. Her car wasn't where it was supposed to be, instead an expensive Porsche stood in its place.

She could've sworn she parked it there!

She looked around more, and sure enough, her car was nowhere to be found. She was getting nervous and decided to call an Uber instead. The caller rang again on her phone, and she declined it again. Her heart sank when the app said her credits were empty. She checked her banking app, and the balance was zero.

"No...no, no, no!"

Soon enough a text came through. "Pick up the call and all will be okay."

She looked around. With no other option, she picked up.

"Good girl. That wasn't so bad, was it?"

With that, a wave of pleasure shot through her body. She thought she saw a bright light ahead, and it was so intense she sighed. But it was only for a second. When it subsided she realized again where she was and what had happened.

"Go inside," the voice said. She was at the entrance of the mall, and entered. "Good girl, Effy," the voice said again.

"What do you want?" Effy said, shaking, not knowing what else to say. She was just starting to realize that the caller made her feel that way, and probably took away her car and her money in the bank. How could this be possible?

"What I want is very simple, Effy. Do what I say, and you get rewards. Like this."

Her phone buzzed. She had just received money from an unknown sender, everything that she previously owned plus an extra $3000. She stared in disbelief.

His voice dropped dark. "Disobey me, and I can make life very difficult for you."

"O...okay," Effy said.
