The blue beam

David aimed the gun at Seth's body, preparing to shoot it again. Why he didn't change the color was a mystery, but still, deep down he knew that nothing could get worse... Unless it could? David shook his head, not even wanting to think about the possibilities, and he shot the gun before anything else could be thought of.

The blue beam shot out again, this time though ricocheting off of Seth's body. Much similarly to before, David didn't even have time to react to this before the beam shot off the walls and right into David's chest.

"Fuck! No!" David exclaimed, realizing that he would soon undergo the same fate Seth just experienced. He looked around frantically, as if some magical exit would appear, but there was nothing. Whatever David could do, he knew he didn't have much time left. What was worse was that he couldn't even think of anything to do, since the only thing on his mind was his idiotic decision to keep the beam blue instead of changing it. Now not only was Seth stuck as a suit, but so was David. He could feel his limbs start to tingle, much in a way he presumes Seth felt before he collapsed too. He felt his insides disappear, not painfully thankfully but it was still terrifying, and soon he fell.

Once on the ground, he realized he couldn't talk, move, or even breathe. He was truly a husk of his own self. Like a passenger in his own body, refusing to move. But the strange thing was that he was still sentient. Even like a minute after being fully transformed, he still could think. Oh no... is Seth experiencing this same feeling? An endless purgatory, trapped, unable to do anything? Fuck, the thought only made David more scared. Would anybody ever find them? And even if so, would they revert them? Or what if they did malicious things with them? No, don't think about it... Just think about now...
