The beach

It hadn't been the initial idea, but when Hailey suggested going to the beach, Maya happily accepted. It was further away, the closest beach was at least a two-hour drive, and she was less likely to get in legal trouble there. They chose a weekday so it wouldn't be too busy and they could find a quiet spot to start off from.

She put on the swim trunks, flip-flops and a men's shirt before leaving the house. It felt a little weird to go out without a bra, but this way she could just take off her shirt and be ready for the beach. She brought a bag with a set of clothes and her other stuff, as Hailey had told her she would book a hotel.

Hailey pulled up front and they drove off together. "Nice car." Maya didn't know much about cars, but this sports car looked very expensive.

"Thanks. I decided to drive myself. Thought you might find it awkward if my chauffeur was coming along."

"Good thinking." Maya pulled down the sun visor to shield her eyes from the light. "Did you pick a spot already?"

"Yeah, there's a nice stretch close to the hotel that shouldn't be too busy. We can go there right away."

"Shouldn't we check in first?"

"Don't have to, I arranged for our room to be ready whenever we need it."

The sun was rather nice on her skin. She almost looked forward to removing her shirt. But she would use the remaining drive to psych herself up for it.
